What can I say of this Place, it's very interesting, a lot of history down there and a superb architecture with stunning wall-paintings. 100% recommended to visit!

As a tourist, this building is worth spending a few minutes. It is free to enter, is beautiful, and has great views of the Cathedral through the courtyard.

Told the history of Jalisco state, the history of the palace building itself, and there was a small section on agave and tequila. Totally free. You can also check out the well-done murals on the ceiling of the stairwell and in the congressional assembly room upstairs. Only down side for foreigners is that it is only in Spanish.

In order to appreciate the main mural correctly, you must: walk 3/4 up the main stairs without looking up, then turn your head towards the ceiling, then open your eyes. It's really easy to miss on the greatness of this mural by just "looking at it" as you walk upstairs.

This beautiful palace has been just renewed with a very nice museum about Guadalajara. I do recommend the museum. But there is nothing like Orozco's paintings upper the main stairs. This is a must see in Guadalajara! Bravo Maestro!
