Stayed at the Four Points for one night on a Friday. The hotel itself was great, as per usual. But the reason for this review is to highlight the excellent staff. One staff member in particular stood out. She was the front desk attendant as we were checking out this morning, named Desiree. She was so nice and went out of her way to offer us coffee and get us water for our drive. Friendly staff members at an establishment can make all the difference in the quality of your stay. Desiree was a wonderful person to see early in the morning and sent us off wanting to return some day in the future. 10/10 would recommend.
Went for drinks and a comedy show at Yuk Yuks. I was so pleased that they had local cider on tap, Bulwarks. I saw comedian Mark Wright, who was amazing. Yuk Yuks brings great talent, though the room and stage are small, I still had fun, definitely laughed and enjoyed myself! Service can be slow, not due to the staff, but because they need to leave the comedy club and go to the Westin restaurant to bring food/drinks. The waiting staff are great, it is the logistics of the club that causes slower service. The bar you see in the club pictures doesn't actually serve alcohol, maybe that is part of the club's humor. To compensate for this though you can order a bucket of chilled bottled drinks (like corona, olands or coolers), kept cool with ice. I would recommend visiting if your want to have a fun time!
Getting our room was a bit of a challenge, we had to wait well beyond 3pm to check-in. But the rooms themselves are nice and the mattresses in particular are fantastic! To boot, the hotel is in a great location. We're really enjoying our stay thus far!
