A great park for both walkers and runners with many paths running next to the willow trees and water. There are enough cross paths to allow for different distances. And, if it's green spaces you're after, there's LOTS of that too. I noticed there are toilet facilities towards the centre of the park but cannot comment on the condition. So, a great park, just a short walk from many of the cities hotels - awesome!

On a consistent basis there are amazing events in North Hagley Park. The parking is a little difficult if you don't know the area. If are not confident in park in small spaces I recommend you walk in from the town center or from outside the park. Most events run for at most a week and are almost always themed around something or are traveling talent. Great place.

Awesome venue to watch the cricket - so close to the players and much more comfortable than sitting in a stadium! Would recommend getting in early when it sells out as the line was massive. Also so nice walking around the park !

Well kept gardens. Easy parking. Something for all age groups and electric train for those who want to see gardens without walking.

What a great place to walk and enjoy the Park and trees. No matter the time of year the surroundings are fantastic. The only "fly in the ointment" are those that do not understand the concept of "share the path." These are groups of people that walk and run around the park in a bulldozer fashion clearing everyone in their path out the way. Highly recommended place to visit as long as you don't mind the odd group of inconsiderates!

Great area for all ages. There was some interesting school holiday activities. Map was easy to follow and in a good location. Would be nice if dogs were allowed.

A beautiful place just to relax or catch up on friends and family, love the gardens it changes every time I go there. Highly recommend if you want to go there and just relax

Beautiful brimming with history and character. Hagley Park is the reason we moved to Christchurch. It relaxes and inspires me every time I'm luckily enough to go!

Love this park! Great place for a walk, playground for the kids and then getting a coffee and icecream at duck duck.
