This historic former warehouse is located in the heart of Hamburg, a 12-minute walk from Hamburg Central Station. It offers a shared games room, drinks bar and excellent public transport connections.
In November 2007 the A&O in Hamburg opened in close proximity to the Central Station. The former Kontorhaus used to be a warehouse for goods from the most varied countries. Today, guests from all over the world can sleep in modern rooms each with their own shower and toilet. Our young and friendly staff takes care of our guests on all 365 days of the year 24 hours a day in order to offer them a pleasant stay and relaxing nights. The A&O Hamburg is located 500 meters or just one underground station from the Central Station. With its central location the A&O is easy to reach by car, train or even by bus and is located between Speicherstadt and Binnenalster. A perfect starting point for excursions in the city!

Sehr sauber, leider waren auf dem vierbettzimmer für drei Personen nur zwei Betten fertig bezogen. Zwei mussten noch bezogen werden. Handtücher waren mehr als ausreichend vorhanden. Handseife und duschseife steht bereit. 2 Minuten zu Fuss bis zur u-Bahn. Für ca 12 Euro mit dem Taxi zur Reeperbahn. 24 h besetzte Rezeption. Freundliches und sehr engagiertes Personal mit netten Geheimtipps
Rooms are simple and clean. Bed sheets and towels are all clean. You are getting enough towels and a clean bathroom as well as a seperate shower in the same room. Food is available in the morning mid day and evening. You have to pay extra for that.
It's exactly what you would expect from a hostel: average rooms, average service, average location. The traffic noise can be quite annoying, just like the not functioning lift which is really needed if you have more than 3 floors. Although it's mostly average, it could be a bit cleaner and better organised, the guests has to handle most of the things themselves.
