Experienced real live on a XVIII Century sailboat. Only few parts visitable but well documented
Great food and atmosphere at the Ponton restaurant. The salmon was excellent, fresh and very tasty.
I do not have a particular passion for ships, but it was a nice trip for around one or one and a half hours. There are plenty of options to get a discount and many of them can even be combined. You can see the crew chambers on the one side and the officers' rooms on the other, and you can learn a lot about the history of this particular ship.
Amazing roast beef ! Waiter could not have been nicer. Authentic food cooked with love and care. Worth a visit -the food is even better than the ship (which on its own is very impressive). We would love to come back.
Beautiful ship museum with a rich history of travel. Also has a restaurant within the ship with good food.
A nice museum of one of the view working sailing boats this size. Once you're there, you get a lot of information of his life was on board while it was still in service. This place is pretty interesting for kids as well - they can explore the ship on their own and check out almost every detail.
Classic sight and nice restaurant Had a business lunch in the Maritime themed restaurant on board. The food is traditional northern German and seaman's fare, very well made and presented. Large portions at fair prices. To enter the restaurant, you need to purchase a museum ship ticket (5€, group discounts available) but 2€ per ticket will be refunded from the lunch or dinner bill.
Really great experience. With the Hamburg Card it costs only 4,20€ (normal price 5€) and you can see an accurate story about the ship and how it turned to be a museum. Absolutely worth taking a look and do the tour by yourself while reading and watching about the story. Beautiful! - and the view from above is stunning.
