Our children have fun there and that's our main focus, we enjoy seeing them having a good time! Worth a quick visit. No problem to access with a buggy. Parking is free across the road. Coffee shop is good. If you have time to spare there is also a children's playground next to the car park.

Great museum for kids! And I loved it too. The Victorian streets are amazing to wander around. It's a real gem of a place. We'll be going back soon.

Great museum to bring the kids. Plenty of interesting stuff especially the old street and shops and old style arcade games! Good cafe as well.

Nice place to visit and have a walk around. Good location for taking photographs. Parking is only on one side of the main road which can make it difficult for wheelchair users. Access is via the shop for wheelchair users. Staff were very helpful in getting the wheelchair into the museum.

Enjoyed your lovely cafe and our weekend visit to the interesting museum. Loved the Women of May event. It really brought to life the lives of women at that time. How lucky we are now, thanks to them. Pleasant friendly staff. I would highly recommend a visit - all ages.

Great little museum but it is small so not somewhere that will be an all day long outing. There are examples of old shops and plenty of activities for the kids like dressing up and interactive screens. We went during Easter so there were free crafts for the kids and a science workshop. We didn't use the cafe as we had taken a picnic with us, which we ate at kirkstall abbey.

I have been going this place since I was a kid so near on 26 years and nothing seems to have changed. The museum could do with a revamp however it is a cheap day out. You can spend a good few hours inside before heading over to the abbey

The recreation of Victorian streets and shops was magical. Really enjoyable. Felt the pricing was a bit high for what it is, but will definitely take friends along when they visit us in Yorkshire.

Quaint little child friendly museum. Some good exhibits and a good on site cafe. Only issue is its size, it's easy to walk round in less than 30 minutes.

Excellent museum, so much to see and do, especially for those with younger children although plenty for adults also. Well worth the very cheap admission, family ticket just a tenner. The actual abbey, amazing ruins, are free and just over the road, equally stunning, the remains of the tower are very impressively high even today. Superb way to pass a good few hours all round when you add in some very pleasant riverside walks.

This place is a great little museum with some excellent examples of social history. When you first enter the main part of the museum there is an old Victorian street with some examples of shops and houses from the area in the style they would have been during the era. There is a temporary gallery in place based around A Womans place over the last century and the struggles in achieving equality. A little further on there is some antique attractions and in a final section there is a history of toys. Good value for money and worth a look around if you are in the area.

Excellent museum with a great selection of toys for children to play with as well. Has a model street and shops underground and has dress up activities for children including activities to keep them entertained. would definitely recommend a visit with or without children. Very educational but fun.
