Pleasant Afternoon Tea. Party of seven. Had scones and tea for four and toasted chicken for two. Scones were beautifully presented with cream, butter, two preserves and very fresh and yummy. Also very big scones, so you could share if you wanted to. Toasted chicken sandwiches were good with decent fries. All in all an excellent afternoon.

Lovely tea garden and restaurant. The view and the service is fantastic! Tea selection is the Five Roses Premium collection-yummy! They also make good food. We have been a few times and have never been disappointed

What an imposing stone venue, was the first time I'd been here in a long time, I really enjoyed it and the view was spectacular. I still find it sad and disturbing that the statue has been defaced so badly. The coffee shop / restaurant was great and there was an awesome kids play area in the back that you can sit near with some great kids equipment.

This monument is part of history even though students have been boycotting due to the concurring this man did. I really enjoyed the area and it was beautiful. Looking down cape Town really was worth the visit.

I love this restaurant. What I love about it is that I can take my dogs there after a walk in the forest, they are given water to drink and a treat most of the time. I feel the food is really good, portions are big as well. In winter you can still sit outside and they give you a blanket. You can also sit inside where they will have a fire going in the fireplace. I took my father there for his birthday breakfast and they gave him a slice of cake and wanted to sing him happy birthday which was great! Restaurant has amazing views with the Mountain in the background, the staff are really friendly and I always manage to find parking. Big thumbs up from me!

Great to take visitors to Cape Town and if you a local and haven't been in ages, well take a drive up and go visit again, you'll also feel like a tourist. Hint: go during a religious holiday, you will almost have the place to yourselves.

Nice views from the top. Nice mountain biking trails for those who enjoy mountain biking. Very enjoyable hiking trails. For those who enjoy the outdoors, this would be one of many places to visit in Cape Town. The terrain is elevated for mountain bike climbing and the trails coming back down are quite fun. There is parking available right at the front gate, as well as on top where the trails begin. Go take a trip to the top and experience the beautiful view. These trails also connect to Newlands forest.

One of the most beautiful places to run/cycle to, especially in the early morning when there is little traffic (safer in groups) and you can watch the sun rise. The surrounding tracks, view and picturesque location make this an awesome spot. There is also a restaurant that serves light and full meals, as well as a conference venue.

Free parking and free entry. Offers a nice view. If you want to do more than take nice selfies you could walk down the quite steep path to an old block house about half a kilometer away for some scenic exercise

Rhodes Memorial Park, nice place to relax and have a magnificent Cape Town panorama view. For those more into sports activities it is a good starting point for climbing up the Table Mountain Chain of peaks or just having a walk over the grounds.

Beautiful place to get the full view of the city bowl. Just a wonderful place for family and friends for a picnic. The architecture of the building is extravagant. Wonderful history behind Rhodes Memorial. The fresh air and refreshing cup of coffee at the restaurant can relax your whole weekend and open your mind. Just a hint, some will know of the abandoned zoo just below Rhodes Memorial and it's a must to see.

One of Cape Town's gems. Definitely advisable to read up on some of the history of Rhodes memorial. Lovely, tranquil spot to sit and watch the beautiful views of Cape Town. Also well known for it's hiking trails and beautiful back drops for photoshoots. There's also a lovely restaurant with amazing views and amazing food. The perfect location to have lunch on a sunny day!
