Good dining place though the food is a bit salty. Suggest to book a VIP room. Otherwise it is quite noisy.

might be better once the works around it are completed. atm it is a construction zone! view of harbour is ok but there are lots of places to see the harbour

So close to KL and so different. Total mix of malaysian, hindu, thai. Caves are natural marvels adopted for religious purposes. Many monkeys on stairs while climbing up so watch out. Train is comfortable but doesnt stick to timetable. Good trip for half day.

The view from here towards the Harbour is amazing and mainly in the night, there is also a huge messe next to it and it is a very nice location to visit, one of the top recomandations. The statue itself didn't impress me honestly but the entire square it's very nice. Also the ferry piers are next to it therefore you can make this visit "on the way"...

It was quite busy when I camd by. Plenty of tour buses and people crowding around the statue. The statue was ok and not very spectacular. The square was crowded. The promenade by the harbour was quite nice though. Nice views of the Kowloon and there were a lot of characters lining the area.

Good place for leisure walk. During night place is not crowded, that time you can admire the harbour front.

Actually is not really interesting, just 1thing about the Golden Flower . but the view alongside the beach make it better.. Not enough plant so the weather is hot n looks so dry.

There are actually not much to do here. I just came to watch the Symphony of Light, but alas, the sky was cloudy. When I asked for the spot to watch the light show, event the food seller there recommend me to watch from across the river, i.e. from Tsim Sha Tsui promenade.

Made up of 14 carat Gold the Golden Bauhinia the symbol of Hong Kong integration with China after handing over by UK in 1997. It's outside the exhibition centre by the side of harbour at Golden Bauhinia square. Nearby you can take harbour cruise (minimum charge 175 HKD approx) and see the skyline of whole Hongkong full of Towery buildings with vivid design, if you're cruising in evening you can see laser light show 'Symphony of lights' but it didn't enthused me.

Most of the visitors are from mainland China. You can have a view of Victoria harbour. Night scenery are OK.

Bauhinia flower statue is beautiful when it poured by lights in the night, good for taking picture, or if you just occassionally come across it. But coming to the site deliberately or just to take pictures of this statue may take too many time (if I don't say "wasting time"), because there are no significant attractions around there.

This is an area of Wan Chai where you can find a commemorative sculpture known as the 'Forever Blooming Bauhinia', which was given to HK as a gift from the Central Government during the hand-over ceremonies in 1997. It is symbolic of the return of Hong Kong to the motherland (China) after 150 years of rule by Britain. You can see the daily flag raising ceremony at 7.50am each day if you are interested. Also, nice views of the harbor are afforded here and the actual Sculpture is nice to look at. However, it is quite some distance from other important attractions in HK, making it inconvenient for most to see. Also, it can be ridiculously crowded here with the mainland tour groups, which seem to have routine stops at Bauhinia Square these days. Especially at night, it can be seem even busier than the Avenue of Stars on the Kowloon side if that is possible to believe. Overall, this is not a bad sculpture to see but due to its isolation and crowds, Bauhinia Square is not a particularly enjoyable place to visit for most coming to Hong Kong, probably best to concentrate your time at our more interesting attractions.
