Der Hong Kong Park (chinesisch 香港公園 / 香港公园, Pinyin Xiānggǎng Gōngyuán, Jyutping Hoeng1gong2 Gung1jyun4*2) ist ein im Mai 1991 eröffneter und 8 Hektar großer öffentlicher Park im Central and Western District, auf Hong Kong Island, Hongkong.
Beautiful park in the middle of Central. It’s amazing how you begin to feel like you’re in another city/not in Hong Kong while you walk through here. Quiet compared to the main streets and hustle and bustle. Highly recommend the Visual Arts building and the Aviary if you have a great quality camera. Easy to spend and hour or two relaxing here!
One of the places you have to visit when you go to Hong Kong. The park is vast with lots to do and see. Good walking areas and plenty to enjoy for the taste buds. Try the tea house in the park as it is a sensation. The amazing thing about this park is that it is an oasis surrounded by massive sky scrapers including the bank of China building. You will enjoy this park as it is one I have been to a few times and I will be back again.
I love the aviary which you can walk into! Watch out for bird poo but they say it’s lucky anyway! A great place to go before losing yourself in Pacific Place! Also some quiet places to forget you are in the hustle and bustle of Hong Kong!
Fell in love with this place! Beautiful and green! Exotic birds are singing there. Small pretty fishes in the lake with sea turtles around! Nice waterfall also is so great. It’s like Eden on earth. If you’re planning to go to Hong Kong then this is must see place. Also there is a good point with a view of the city.
I was surprised all admittances to the attractions at the park from the aviary to the botanical garden and to the Museum of Tea Wear were free of charge. You need to be wearing comfortable shoes because you will be going up and down the mountain following the pathways almost throughout the park. Be prepared to see brides and grooms with their families taking pictures around the scenic park as the Marriage Registry is located in the park itself! Very interesting.
Nice greenery amongst the buildings in Admiralty, great place for a walk for people of all ages, there is even a restaurant in the park. Lovely on a sunny day, but it would get hot and sticky in summer, so remember to bring a hat, bug spray and sunscreen if staying in the sun is the plan. Easy access to the park entrance from Pacific Place, as you walk upwards, you can see fish ponds, a children's playground and at the top, there are even some monkeys (in a cage of course), so lots to do, could definitely spend a good half day there, or a full day if you have children, but make sure you pack a picnic for the hike.
This park is great! It's clean and beautiful, the decoration is simply amazing! So much things to see and do in this park. We spent there around 4 hours and enjoyed every second. All the attractions are free. You should definitely check out this place!
This Place is worth going. I never thought there exists a place this beautiful and peaceful right in the heart of the city. Its not as huge as central park in NYC but certainly must visit. A walk through park takes about 15 mins. If you are going to the Victoria Peak its a must on the way. Summer time you can also use the water fountain as relief from the heat. MUST GO.
A green oasis in the middle of the concrete jungle! A great place to walk around relax on a bench & watch the world go by. Look out for the newly wed couples celebrating their special day near the registry office or explore the aviary and get up close to some intresting birds!
Great fun with children, although not very pushchair friendly, we had a great day here. There is a super outdoor play area for younger children which was, of course, filled with lots of very energetic children... and a really long slide!
Great place to go for a relaxing lunchtime stroll, or pass a few hours and catch up with nature. The large aviary is probably the best part of the park as you walk around at tree top level to enjoy the bird life. Plenty of quiet areas to contemplate life, and escape the hectic Central streets. The best Public Toilet in Hong Kong is tucked away behind the Hot House above the lake. How a World City can have such appalling public toilets is beyond me, but this toilet beats all the high end malls for cleanliness!!
It is located fairly centrally, closeby to both the Peak Tram and the Admiralty Station. There were plenty of water features around the main area of the park which was really nice. This included the ponds that were nearby, one of which has its own waterfall. There were also quite a few other things to look at and do including the Olympic square (an amphitheatre), the Vantage point (tower you head up to get a birds eye view of the park) and the aviary (walk-in aviary). A really nice place to walk around and get a bit of nature. The places like the aviary closes at 5pm, so best to get there early.
Fantastic place for morning walk or at anytime!!! There are mini zoo open to public with the birds park with many exotic birds. Beautiful botanical garden is also open to PUBLIC. All for free. Size of the park good enough for few hours of walk and great place for family walk or jogging. A must visit!!!
Love Hongkong! In a crowded city, it's nice to have a place to unwind and go for a change of scenery. Lots of beautiful flowers. The place is well kept.
A very remarkable urban park located in Central area. Though small compared with Victoria Park in Causeway Bay, it's neatly filled with artificial pond and waterfall. There is also an Aviary and a greenhouse for fauna and flora lovers. A historical building in the park has transformed to a museum for tea ware.
The absolute perfect place right next to the Peak Tram. Perfect to visit in one go. There are no kiosks or stands in the park itself. There is a great children's playground there. I loved this park. It is like having a jungle in the middle of the business district. I am amazed how beautiful and clean everything was. Aviary is a must see also the lake is great.
A great place in the middle of Hong Kong city, where you can spend a whole day even. Great architecture and they were able to protect the nature while doing all the constructions in the park. Little crowded but that won't disturb you at all. This place is more like a huge jungle in the middle of one of the busiest city in the world.
