Lan Kwai Fong (often abbreviated as LKF) is a small square of streets in Central, Hong Kong. The area was dedicated to hawkers before the Second World War, but underwent a renaissance in the mid-1980s. It is now a popular expatriate haunt in Hong Kong for drinking, clubbing and dining. The street Lan Kwai Fong is L-shaped with two ends joining with D'Aguilar Street.

If your ever in Hong Kong and looking for a night out or to just explore the night life! Lan Kwai Fong is a MUST, you've gotta experience it at-least once..or twice. So much fun! Great bars no matter which day there is a lively atmosphere. Make sure you pass by OZU bar for really good drinks and great music!
Very good place where have a dinner! The oyster omelets are fabulous and all the food is fresh and delicious. Nice traditional Chinese restaurant!!!
If you are a night life person and looking to explore clubs and pubs around Hong Kong, Lan Kwai Fong is one of the most happening places. Filled with pubs and clubs, they run the bars till late. My suggestions, before entering into any pub, try exploring the street, you may encounter some street dances. You can always grab cheap beers from the nearby 7/11 stores to enjoy the show.
Really cool area. great atmosphere , unique atmosphere. You won’t fond something like that in NY , London, LA. It’s very “multi-nationalized” as nowhere in the word. It has anything you ever wanted for any budget. Starting from streets drinking up to exclusive hidden clubs. Hong Kong I miss you. I love you Hong Kong.
A great night out any night of the week lots of bars and restaurants. Mostly foreign people/travellers. Great atmosphere casual and fun. People just party in the streets.
Lit on Friday nights. Drinks and clubs are expensive compared to Canada (Montreal). Not entirely sure whether it's worth it or not, but it's good to go there occasionally to have fun with friends.
One of a kind party district. Full of unique bars, clubs and restaurants. Prime destination for tourists and travellers. Many European type sports bars that serve international beers and food. Lots of clubs that offer 10 to 15 shots for about 180 HKD. Or even jelly shot syringes. Heaps of rooftop bars and terraces too. Unlike other countries, I've never seen people arrested, fighting or causing trouble in the area. The whole place feels safe and upbeat. Highly recommended. 5/5
Cool nightlife district with lots of bars. You can easily grab a taxi to return to your place.
It's a unique landmark that changes according to the time & weather. Enjoy watching the occasional tourist who mistakenly feel that 9pm on a Friday evening in an inclined street lined with pubs is a suitable place for to bring their kids.
most dramatic entertaining part of hong Kong with expats flocking in here from all over the world to get into night clubs and.bars. amazing energetic atmosphere
Great place to hangout and party. Lots of restaurants , bars and clubs. Catering to all budgets. Friday night is particularly lively. Great crowd, great energy. Must visit if you have a free evening in Hong Kong
If you are looking for long night fun and get crazy. Lan Kwai Fong is the best. Good bars and good music.
Extremely busy area on a Saturday night, essentially full of early 20s youth having fun. Someone recommended that my friend and I check it out. We had one drink and then went back to Soho area to a more age-appropriate crowd for us (30-something).
This is a unique party area in Hong Kong. It's pretty wild and the majority of the people are younger, average would be early to mid 20's. You can drink on the street and majority of the people are hanging out on the street. You can grab drink from the 7-11 and walk around. Hollywood is just above and the scene is more mature so depending on your age that will definitely a better place to party.
Way too rowdy and overpriced. Guess it's good for tourist to try just once. You don't need to drive to different bars or to club hop, it's all in one area. Trash all over the streets and people get very sloppy drunk and I guess if you can't afford to go into clubs you just dance in the street... If you're a guy, prepare to pay at the very minimum $100hkd entrance fee for each club. The more premium clubs will be $200 up.
Amazing night life 💙 One of the best place to visit specially at night. There's a lot of great places to try and it's really fun because you can also see other people having a great time, i don't drink too much but it's really worth it when you're here in LKF. One of the best place in Hong Kong, if you wanna experience night life, better try this place. Beers, Cocktails, Wines, Whiskeys, funny good, and nicest people, Ladies and Gents. LKF will do :)
Hong Kong's best known bar/club area. Prices are expensive nearly everywhere however, so look out for happy hour deals, which usually last up to 9pm. I recommend the stormies, which has 50% off their beers and wine, plus a good atmosphere! The place gets crowded on certain nights, which will ensure a good night out.
If you like crazy insane nightlife, a bar scene that rivals New Orleans, Vegas, or Bangkok... LKF is your place. The bars seem to try to out do each other when it comes to volume of the music. Which only adds to the experience. Not just for young folks - I saw a good mix of ages and types of venues. Bring your liver, you're going to need it.
Open clubbing. We went to Ce La Vi (which is supposed to be one of the best) at 12am Friday night and there was hardly any crowd. Came out on the road and was surprised to see such an awesome crowd on the streets. So many places around and we just have to choose whether to stay inside or outside. Either way the ambience is awesome. There is also a 7/11 store if you want drinks for cheap. Cops are around to control any nuisance which I didnt see any till 3am. Overall people are just enjoying which is what one is supposed to do in a place like this.
Very nice place. Have lot of bar and disco. And special think is you can get your own country bar here. And only here is the place that you can feel Hong Kong
Always the place to be seen. Can always have fun and boogie at anytime. The slope is fun.to walk up and down. Can just walk into any pubs. So many pubs you can choose. Quiet, rowdy, noisy etc
