Madame Tussauds Hong Kong, is part of the renowned chain of wax museums founded by Marie Tussaud of France, is located at the Peak Tower on Hong Kong Island in Hong Kong. It is the first Madame Tussauds museums in Asia, the other being the Shanghai branch, which opened in 2006 and the third branch at Bangkok which opened in 2010. The Hong Kong branch houses nearly 100 wax figures of internationally known personalities, with Asian figures taking up more than a third of the total, of which sixteen were Hong Kongers. The wax figures are featured in a range of themed settings such as Hong Kong Glamour, Music Icons, Historical and National Heroes, The Champions and World Premiere.

Very interesting, they do have very nice displays of famous celebrities and important people, do bring along a friend as you'd need help taking proper pictures, selfies are simply not enough. The fares are quite expensive, though you can purchase packages to save cash
Amazingly gud nd must see. Take ur camera with along to get clicked with ur superstars.
It's very easy to lose the track of time in this place, especially if you know the celebrities featured as wax statues and you take a photo every few steps! 😆
Such good fun to visit this museum! It's very exciting to see all the wax statues and to click crazy photos with all the celebrities!!!
full of fun and enjoyment, a great place for kids, you can see all the famous people of the world at one place. the entire place is very good apart from the madame tussauds the place itself is worth visiting as it gives you an entire view of hong kong
It was our first wax museum experience, and Madame Tussauds in Hong Kong was a great experience. Bought my tickets online, a combo package which includes peak tram ride and a meal. If you want to take photos go ahead and take that. There is a quite a large number of icons to see in the museum. However, some of them sees local celebrities and you need to refer the handbook to find out more about them. Fun part is you can take photos with those icons imaginatively. Friendly staff and the service is good, as a tourist it helps me a lot. Only the drawback I’ve noticed is that locating the restaurant to collect my lunch. Guidance wasn’t enough at all. On this site, you can be spent almost a day.
This is a good place to visit. Most of the celebrities statues are placed in this wax museum. Including sportsman, Bollywood actors, Hollywood actors, international politicians including Indians. It takes around 25-30 mins to compete the round. Once you exit from the museum there is awesome view of Hong Kong. The point is call “The Peak”. I recommend to visit this place in evening followed by a beautiful night lighting view of Hong Kong.
Rated as one of the major attractions of HK, this place is a must visit if you are in town. It's located at the Peak. Options: Can go via Peak Tram, Bus or Taxi. I personally suggest to go by Peak Tram as the thirll is exhilarating. The tickets can be taken easily on weekdays; expect a bit rush on weekends. Or the best is buy the whole package of Peak Tram, Madame Tussauds and Peak Tower Sky Deck to get an express entry. (We did that). Normal time to complete this is just 1 to 2 hrs. Important Advice: If you have kids or elderly people along, do finish your washrooms usage before you enter; as this place doesn't have washrooms. Happy outing and do press Like if you found the post helpful.
Amazing experience. Lot of famous celebrities and personalities from all over the world. Worth going if you have extra day during HongKong visit. Outside view from the top is amazing
I LOVED IT! And I honestly have nothing more to add😅. My only comment for visitors who will visit the museum via the peak tram is "brace yourself for the crowd" especially during weekends and public holidays...
I loved this place. You can get up close to the wax figures and it was a lot of fun posing for photos. Half of the figures are of Asian celebrities and as a tourist I had no idea who they were. But even so, there were enough familiar faces to really enjoy the place. One of the best things I've done this trip.
When I was first told we're going to Madame Tussauds, I wasn't expecting much. A bunch of dummies, big deal, right? Wrong. Some of these models are so flawlessly lifelike that you start to get confused as to who is and isn't a real person. A certain sight to see. Some of them are masterpieces. A definite must see. The sheer brilliance of the intricacy and detail will amaze even the most bored of us.
Absolutely the most enjoyable activity I bad in The Peak! Your trip to Victoria's Peak wouldn't be complete if you don't visit Madame Tussauds. Had tons of fun taking pictures with my favorite Korean actors and with other famous celebrities
The 1st wax museum (Madam Tussaids) in Asia, nice place located at the Peak Hong Kong. We can find many imitators of our fave artists & presidents from east to west. Some statue can't be taken pictures on our own, we should pay & picture taken by their employee. In same location (outside the museum) we can find many crafts & souvenir shops also fine coffee house. It's a must visit place while we're in Hong Kong. Easy to make our own way by public transportations.
Great experience! We were planning to go Victoria peak. But we are also interested in Madame Tussauds. There was a long line for the tram but since we purchased tickets for Madame Tussauds we got on the faster line. Most of the wax figures are Asian Stars. There are also Hollywood stars as well.
It's cool. Lots of work is put into it but for Australians, we didn't know many of the waxes famous Asian characters. I'd suggest anyone go here though, just for experience!
MT is said to be a must-go place in HK, so I think this place cannot be missed. But, even if I was acknowledged that photograph with Jackie Chan must be taken by their crew (means we have to pay more), I still found this museum is less than I expected. Plus 1. There are many historical photographs about Madame Tussaud and her museums. Interesting if you love history. 2. There is a part of museum where they explain how they managed to create a wax statue very similar with the real figure. Minus 1. If you come in holiday or in weekends, this museum becomes very crowded. It even gets much harder for you to take pictures conveniently. 2. If you are a fan of White House figure, this photograph is also have to be paid. 3. Need to find an exit door? I think the crews have to create better road sign in the museum.
Small, barely felt like a "Tussauds". But something is better than nothing. I really liked the Vin Diesel at the ticket counter and of course Jackie Chan.
