Simply walking around on a weekday afternoon is enough to experience the hustle and bustle of city life in HK. Sunset in the city is stunning and most captivating...
It's got a great vibe. Pavements are narrow, high and stepped so you often find you're walking in the road but definitely visit for the bars and restaurants. There's an M&S food store there too.
Soho is very nice place for the evenings . Place has many Bars, Restaurants, etc. To have a nice evening. Place is mostly frequented by ex-patriots & tourists. Worth a visit.
A must go place if you're into nightlife and drinking. Also a must go place with friends. It is reasonable crowded in the day but in night, things get really high and people start to swarm like bees. At the peak of night, be careful of people who get drunk and shopkeepers that try to drag you inside. It's quite a tourist trap so watch the cheque and most bars have a service charge of 10 or 20+ percent. The escalators which bring you up are really cool, it's worth a ride. Watch yourself and stay safe. Would recommend.
There is definitely not a single neighborhood of Hong Kong that will not make you have an awe moment... 😄 Busy, crowded, multi colored place and people... this is HONG KONG... 😄
This place is either flat, or the incline in unbearable. Is how I'm starting this review. It can be said, this area is party central. Where you will find clubs at each corner, and every other ground floor apartment, this will include drunk people, drunk singing people, and ravers, I think I was the only person who actually walked though the mayhem. After nearly stepping in vomit 3-6 times, I was dragged into clubs, forced into bars, or I was just trying to avoid a stampede of alcoholics trying I find the way to the cheapest shots. But if you like heavvyy bass and cheap liquid, and lots of people. This is the place for you.
People wanna have fun! Many options of bars, pubs and restaurants.
Great area to wander around/hang out in Hong Kong. Definitely check out the Central to Mid-Levels escalator.
I loved Hong Kong and also Soho. Lots of places to eat and have drinks. Really good armosphere. Soho is all the way up the hill. There escalators bringing you up making it even cooler.
If you're on Hong Kong island and you're staying overnight, this is a place to visit. Great night life vibe, plenty of restaurants and no shortage of bars and music. Grab a bite from some of the grill shops around and make your way up with stairs crowded with people or even escalators running 24-7. A very small walk from CENTRAL and not more than 30 mins walk from the furthest metro stops.
Atmospheric, charming and the Mid levels escalators are the most unique Thing around in Asia!
It's clear that a large swath of Soho caters to foreigners, but don't let that deter you from exploring its nooks and crannies - there is plenty on offer here that gives off a unique vibe of East meets West that I've not experienced anywhere else in the world.
This is the place to be when you are visiting Hong Kong. All in walking distance. A region full off life, noise and “for me” strange smells. I loved it and felt safe on every moments off day.
A great hub with good culinary. Sit along the open area with a glass of wine is relaxing in the nearby CBD.
Nice atmosphere. Lots and lots of bars and restaurants. Good food. Good beer.
Great place to go for drinks and food. It's a bit more on the expensive side but happy hour here is worth it! Lots of ex pats hang out in Soho as well. It's a great time!
A young-vibes neighbourhood. Featured in all movies that feature HK, I guess :) Loud on weekends. Love the escalators there. Plenty of lively bars and restaurants.
If you like food, fashion and east meets west, this is a place for you. You can get cuisine of different countries. You name it, they have it. A good no.of fashion boutiques are located here and there. Place of tremendous fun and pleasure.
