Eleanor Tinsley Park is a section of Buffalo Bayou Park in Houston, Texas. It was designated on April 20, 1998 in honor of Eleanor Tinsley, who served as a member of the Houston City Council At-Large for 16 years.
The park houses the Lee and Joe Jamail Skatepark, the Shady Grove Victim Memorial, a Henry Moore sculpture entitled "Large Spindle Piece", the Houston Police Officers' Memorial, Glenwood Cemetery, the San Felipe playground, jogging trails, and a sand pit which can be used for volleyball.

Really pretty. If I could I would add a half a star. You get an awesome view of Houston's Skyline. But...very little shade. Maybe the city can invest in creating some artificial or natural shade? Maybe more trees closer to the running paths? How about seeking vendors or establishing kiosks for the sale of refreshments?

I love when they have concerts here they always do the most awesome events. They have motorcycle events concerts freedom over Texas etc I can keep on going forever. We have been to so many events here seriously everyone should check out Eleanor events and just see what's coming up. I recommend everyone tries at least once super great.

I love this place. It's across the street from where I live so I pass by it often. It's right on the Buffalo bayou so I ended up biking along the Buffalo bayou path which felt extremely safe and along the way had signs so you could tell where you were at all times. The place is really common for concerts as well and the July 4 fireworks were displayed here too.

Great place to get some Breeze and enjoy Mother Nature. The bike place right by Eleanor Tinsley Park rates 5 stars as well! Great service, cheap bikes, and those bikes were very useful and comfortable. The park had a fun playground with a slide, drum sets, and adult attractions. I would definitely take your dog out here to walk or play in an open field. This park is very peaceful and I would definitely recommend anyone who is visiting to come check it out! Great for pictures too!

We did the lower trails on the buffalo bayou park loop. It was lots of fun. See things that you don't see on the outer loop. We've decided that this is among our very favorites.
