A well laid out Tea Room / Restaurant on the south bank of the Humber at the foot of the Humber Bridge. A varied menu to choose from and although not cheap, the meal was excellent quality and a plentiful serving.
Looks nice, clean neat and tidy inside. Was there for a speed awareness course. Looks to have a comprehensive menu, wasn't eating there though
Needs tables refurbishing and the potholes car park. Some loss of food quality recently. Small menu but nice choices. Good quality beverages and great building for families and pets. Nice staff but understaffed at peak periods so it can be slow.
Loved this, somewhere to eat, to walk and great day out with locally produced arts and crafts surrounded by nature, wild life and birds. Beautiful unique garden pottery to buy at good prices.
I was there for the speed awareness course but it has inspired me to visit properly next time. Good view of the bridge and the cafe looked to be serving good food. A few artisan shops so a good venue to while away a few hours.
This is a place we've only been to once and as we arrived late we couldn't stay long. We will go back as we often cycle across the bridge. Awesome views from the bridge but can only cross on the west side at the moment.
Excellent food at reasonable prices served by a genuinely helpful staff, and even when busy the service is speedier than I expected. I have been several times and can vouch for a consistency in food quality and service.
We went to purchase a large pot for the garden. Got 2. Very helpful and informed staff. Also friendly. Coffee good, but lack change if making cash purchase with large denomination note. Would definitely visit again.
Well presented meals and prompt service. We had hot sandwiches. There is a small range of inventive fillings in fresh bread rolls with side salad and chips. Well worth a visit, as are the artisan shops nearby on the same site.
Second visit after being impressed with the first. Nice clean and buzzing environment. Good food and quick service. Sandwiches come with chips. Highly recommend. I will return again.😋
Handy cafe for those unfortunate enough to have to attend a speed awareness course. Simple fare, clean and bright, reasonably priced. Around the back are a few craft shops that are worth a peek.
Lovely place. Walk over the humber bridge, wanted a cuppa and cake. Wood burner fire place was on and lovely staff. Cuppa and food lovely. Staff served is very fast even that they was busy. Best bit was dogs allowed in the eating area so long as on a lead and well behaved. Can eat outside as well. This area looks over a lovely pond area.
I regularly meet with clients for a coffee here. Very spacious eating area that is warm and pleasant. A good range of quality hot drinks and delicious home made sweets and cakes are always on offer. The staff greet you with a smile and are always polite. During the winter months you are welcomed by a roaring log fire in the reception area, and in the warmers months there are outdoor tables and seating on the side of a well kept lake, with sweeping views of the humber bridge and surrounding countryside as a backdrop. The toilets are easily accessible and have always been clean. Ample car parking.
