Located on the top of the mountain, you get great views of the valley. You reach there after a steep hike but are rewarded with great views. The Fort itself is 800 years old, well maintained and worth seeing. Professional guides are provided with the ticket purchase.
🗻🏰 Good historical Fort. Try enjoying the walk on the road. See the shops around. Appreciate the construction of the houses with mud. Cherry 🍒 trees. Get guided tour. And enjoy. 🙂 👉 And must go to Altit Fort.
You need to walk to the fort. The way is steep but it is worth going there with beautiful landscape. My daughters and grandsons went inside and were of all appreciation for the history they witnessed. Myself and my wife enjoyed the scene sitting outside
Amazing place, but at a very steep elevation. If you are physically not fit, please don't attempt to get there. A few jeeps sometimes venture theer all the way to the top. I am not sure how they manage it as the pathway is narrow and barely sufficient for pedestrians. Be sure to get a guide who can explain some amazing facts about the fort/palace. You get a good insight into the life style of local population..
This is a historic fort located in Hunza. We were charged an entry ticket of 400 per head. Right in beginning is a royal garden after which lies the beautiful fort. Views from the top are magnificent. A guide will tell you all important information about the fort and old traditions. It has a watch tower on the top. Their is a special room where women were kept during their menstrual cycle. Overall a place worth visiting.
Restoration of 800 years old fort. If you are visiting Hunza valley, it is a must place to visit. Tour guide will explain the rich culture, history and customs of the valley and its people. Fort was restored by Aga Khan Trust for Culture in 1996 and since then it is welcoming visitors from across the globe. It was amazing to know the history of the valley and the changes it has gone through during various time periods.
What a beauty in Mountains.... Excellently maintained 900 years old fort. In addition, the tourist guides are so good that they really make you go back in times :)
Baltit Forte is a very very famous place of Karimabad Hunza. This is the main place where every tourist must go there... very old and historic place. I personally visited there 2 times... I like very much.
What a beautiful place, sympathetic restoration at its best. Also the staff are very helpful and polite. A true model for other tourist destinations in Pakistan. Please keep it up.
I visit there in late December. The people around there is very good. Nice hospitality. The fort is very beautiful.
Visited two or three times. Nice place. Nicely assembled, adjusted, decorated and precisely cared historic place. Just need more attention from the commoners. Nice place to visit. Tourist attraction
