Osterfelderkopf (elevation 2,057 m (6,749 ft)) is a summit of the Wetterstein range in the German state of Bavaria.
The Osterfelderkopf lies below the northern ridge of the Alpspitze and the Höllentorkopf. It is only a few meters away from the top station of the Alpspitzbahn cablecar and is part of the skiing area Garmisch Classic.

Stunning views, this was Sept with a little early snow fall I think its €30 ish for a round trip ticket 👍👍 There is a car park at the bottom.

Muster your nerves and dare to step out along the steel walkway jutting out of the mountainside. At the end there is nothing underneath for appx 100 metres straight down, but the uninterrupted mountaintop views all around are simply stunning.

This observation platform is awsome. If you get a sunny weather, then views are incredible. During high season, consider it is crowded. There is small restaurant at Alpspitz.

Love this view. Highly recommend this place over Zugspitze, you’ll save money and stay away from the crowds.
