Pertisau is a small village on the Achensee Lake in the Tyrol region of Austria.
Pertisau is in the Schwaz (district). It is located in the Karwendel Alpine Park, one of the oldest, cross-border, protected areas of the Eastern Alps.
Very good place for people getting back in skis or for beginners. After a while it gets rather repetitive. Blue pistes can be pretty boring. But it is a paradise for cross country skiers. Reasonable pricing, not overcrowded, even on Saturday. People are friendly. Excellent ski rental service.

A nice ride to the ski slopes that offers an amazing view to Achensee!

Nice area but very small. Not recommended for experienced skiers.

Very nice views, but I guess you expect that there. The food is not bad but not good either. You expect that too I guess.

Fantastic trip up to top at 1500m where you can walk around or back down to Pertisau, or watch the paragliders take off.
