Wide variety of chocolates at good prices. Place also offers visitors to have sessions on making chocolates. One point very important to note unlike other shops in interlaken the staff is sensitive to visitors taking pictures of the shop and display items. It's mandatory to ask permission here before taking any pictures.
My sister and I attend a chocolate making class during our time in Interlaken. We had a great time! It is a small class and the teacher was very informative and helpful during the chocolate making portion. I would highly recommend it!!
10/10 would recommend! Tatiana is AWESOME and we had too much fun. If you're going to do a chocolate experience in Switzerland, make it the Funky Chocolate Club. You will not be disappointed! Lots of love from Canada, Tatiana! Thank you for the Swiss Tim Bits!
I live in Interlaken and brought my Scottish friends with me to make some Swiss chocolate ourselves! We all had the BEST time and we made the greatest chocolate bars. Go there! It doesn't get more Swiss and the "instructors" are fun!!!! I love the funky chocolate club! Thanks for a bit of holiday in midst of working here...
Went for the chocolate making workshop: Dory was an excellent trainer and the class was fun and interactive. All you can eat chocolate during class. Otherwise also had the strawberries dipped in hot chocolate which was heavenly.
Awesome place! We learnt a lot about chocolate while we made our own bars and decorated them too! Super friendly and fun crew running the shop... would 100% recommend it!
I did the chocolate making workshop last week. I have to say the class was very fun, and I really enjoyed it. I was able to eat chocolate, talk about chocolate and make chocolate. All things I love to do. I do have to say that I'm giving this 3 stars because the class was rather expensive at $120 per person, and the chocolate once it hardens isn't good. It has a super weird texture, turns white and isn't enjoyable. I feel like this should be cheaper and maybe only make one bar since the chocolate doesn't turn out like you would hope.
Loved their strawberry chocolate dip! pretty light somehow! the staff are extra friendly, they were kind enough to give my son chocolate coins (shape of 5 CHF) unfortunately they don't sell these as he's hooked on them lol , but the staff was kind enough to give him more of those before we left as he went inside looking for more chocolate coins 😅, I'm quiet interested in trying their chocolate making class, not sure if we'll find the time to try that too.
Did the chocolate making class and had a blast! So fun and informative, and the staff was amazing (even helping us find a good place to eat dinner, and how to catch our train!)! Delicious chocolate as well. Highlight of the trip!
Must try in Interlaken! Such a cute spot with excellent chocolate fondue. I recommend having it with fresh strawberries.
Very cute store that sells all things chocolate. We popped by here on our first day in Interlaken and really enjoyed looking at the chocolate replicas of watches, cameras, and bread baskets. They also offer chocolate making classes which unfortunately we arrived too late to participate. There is a small table and counter with seating towards the back where you can enjoy some of their delicious chocolate treats. We highly recommend their chocolate cake smothered in liquid chocolate and cold hot chocolate. The cold hot chocolate wasn't as sweet as most that we are used to but it's packed with chocolaty flavor and that's how we liked it. Staff was super friendly!
Took the class with my family and everyone had a great time. Instructor was very knowledgeable and did a great job of explaining and kept it interesting. My son said this was one of his favorite things we did while in Switzerland. Admittedly, he is a chocoholic. Would highly recommend to anyone considering.
I have been travelling around Switzerland and buying chocolates everyday. This shop has hands down the best chocolates of the trip. I suggest to buy as many as you can and bring it with you if you are going on to another town. I have left Interlaken and personally regret not buying more, thinking there will be other good chocolate shops too. This is seriously good. Worth every single calorie.
it's completely overrated. i went up there after seeing some reviews on Google and YouTube videos. i took hot chocolate and it was very bitter and didn't have anything special. Starbucks hot chocolate is anytime better than this. lady at the counter was rude especially towards indian tourists. i would not recommend this please.
Took a chocolate making workshop. The host was friendly and helpful. My 9 year old son loved the class and the fact that you can eat all the chocolate you wanted.
What a great place. Most lovely and happy people - I guess that's what happens when you work with chocolate ever day! I even got to taste the new Ruby chocolate! You know they are on their game when they keep up with the newest products on offer! Do the workshop, eat chocolate and buy more for home!
