Miniatürk is a miniature park at the northeastern shore of Golden Horn in Istanbul, Turkey. It opened May 2, 2003. It is one of the world's largest miniature parks, with a 15,000 m2 (160,000 sq ft) model area and total area of 60,000 square metres (650,000 sq ft). It contains 135 models, in 1:25 scale, of structures from in and around Turkey, and interpretations of historic structures.
Of the park's total area, 40,000 m2 (430,000 sq ft) is open space; 3,500 m2 (38,000 sq ft) is covered; and 2,000 m2 (22,000 sq ft) contain pools and waterways. Its parking lot has a capacity of 300 vehicles.
I heard of this place and thought, it is just going to be a small model park of Turkey so what, but then when we went there, the models were huge and astounding. There were models of huge mosques and train tracks running through each one with water around those. They were the smaller or miniature versions of life size giant monuments of Turkey. There was the Blue Mosque, bridges, and the best one The international airport of Turkey with huge planes going around. There were also some being constructed and a bridge you could cross to see the whole view of the mini land. There is a helicopter simulator, maze, chess game and restaurant and play land too. It is breathtaking and awesome to take pictures with.

It's an amazing place with miniature models of historic buildings and landmarks. There are so many well-made models to see that you'd want to stop by each one to capture it with your camera. This place also has a souvenir shop, nice playground for kids and a restaurant. Entry fee is 15 TL (as of Jan'18).

Its a nice place to visit, when you can see almost all Turkish historical places around turkey, made as a small anthropomorphic, you must go in a good weather day because its an open area, the Miniaturk fees entrance is 15 Turkish lira, and for students is 3 lira, you will see a lot of security man and Police around... don't be scared it's the Turkish system like that.

You can find so many historical places shrunk into tiny buildings. It is a good place to visit with your family, especially for those who have children that interested in learning history. It feels like you are traveling the whole Turkey by being a giant that can walk across the buildings in several steps. Really unique experience.

Good shopping times that we spent there, I hope all markets deal with their customers such like this center. The prices are fair and acceptable, the CRM had been trained accurately, I just have one comment, which is the lighting conditions is not fine for view because they are using moon lighting regardless of sun lighting. Maybe when they mix between the both lighting it will be amazing shape of view. Good luck.
