A must visit in Pattaya. Very quiet. Awesome city view. Make sure you dress appropriately when going here
Beautiful place on a small mountain. This temple gives you view of pattaya city. Buddha idol is huge and gives the feeling to surrender to almighty. One can buy offerings from there like incense stick, candle and gold paper at 20 baht. Also other offerings are available at higher cost.
The Big Buddha hill. One of thr few places in Pattaya to have peaceful morning and evening. The experience starts from the entrance and goes on during the visit. People around are quite and smell of incense is just amazing. Make sure you wear decent outfit and your phone on 🔇
PATAYA IS VERY BEAUTIFUL PLACE... THANKS THAILAND GOVT. FOR MAKING TOO MANY TOURIST PLACES
Big Buddha is a must see in pattaya. It's got many beautiful statues of Buddha. A very photogenic place. Also from here you can get a breathtaking view of Pattaya. It's one of the highest viewpoints. If you're someone who loves to take high altitude pics, then this is highly recommended. Just be sure, if you're a man you can't wear shorts to the temple and if you're a women, you can't any sort of "revealing" clothing. Anyother clothes are fine.
One of the few places in Pattaya to have a peaceful morning or evening, and a must visit temple whenever you are around. The experience starts from the entrance and goes on during the visit, people around are very quite, prayers are heard everywhere and the smell of incense is just amazing. Make sure you are wearing decent clothes, and you have your phone on silent just to make sure you enjoy every moment of the visit.
Big Buddha is a revered idol atop a small hill on the Bang Lamung district of Pattaya. A short drive from Pattaya Beach road will let you reach this amazing gold polished idol of Buddha. Everywhere in Thailand, when you are visiting a Buddha Temple, you have to wear politely and appropriately. One good thing here is that hawkers outside the temple have sarongs or scarves for women, who unknowingly wear skimpy dresses (that's what they will wear when in a Tropical country like Thailand), so that they can cover themselves up. There is a flight of stairs from which you can reach the main temple. Both sides of the stairs are adorned with a elongated golden dragon. Pretty eye-catching. Once up, you can visit the temple complex which has many idols depicting Buddha in every mood. There is a souvenir shop and a prayer room as well. Further moving ahead, you see the Pattaya skyline and the ocean in a spectacular view. The view of islands and the ocean is truly breath-taking. Love this place. I would have really missed something if I couldn't make it here.
I love this place. In whole pattaya you only listen sounds of party music.Where here you will get so much peace. And very positive and spiritual vibes👌
Buddhist temple. Interedting and quite busy. You can go as a tourist or to venerate the Buddha. There is also a Chinese temple just below. Much more peaceful.
Nice and peaceful place to visit just a few hundred meters away from Pattaya Viewpoint. Need to wear decent clothes when visiting the temple but its a good thing that they provide clothing to cover parts of your body if you are not wearing the proper dress code
Thailand's culture & religion is so lovely. People themselves are so much loving that you feel welcomed & respected. A peaceful environment & a breath-taking view from above the mountain. Don't miss this place if you're planning on to travel to Thailand.
Great place to visit. Specially around 6 pm when the sunsets is happening. Pure divine and serenity !
Must see if your there highly recommended went twice last time I was there such a peaceful place beautiful scenery and very educational good for families. But please respect their beliefs women should cover their legs when the go they will provide you with something but I would advise you to take something to rap around you yourself other than that very enjoyable experience.
Very spiritual place. Felt so relaxed here and magnificent views. It was pleasure donating supplies to the friendly monks.
Beautiful Thai place where you can relax and forget about the city around. To visit Big Buddha you should be dressed properly, but you can also borrow the clothes here. Atmosphere and energetic are incredible! Choose your Buddha by the day of the week you was born and make a wish! The entrance is free, but you can buy some souvenirs here.
Nice peaceful place... But most of the boards of significance of the idols were only in the local language not in English, so it difficult to understand why are the other idols worshipped... Also it has a good view of the nearby beach from bird's eye view..
Lovely spot. Good views. Interesting statues and temples. But infested with tourists (and yes I know I'm one of them!)
