Lovely hotel near the beach and restaurants at Juan les Pins. Friendly staff and excellent breakfast . I always stay at La Residence when visiting friends. It's very good value and always welcoming.
This is what I would call a boutique hotel. I booked it via Hotels dot com for my 2 weeks here on France for Cannes film festival. It's a 2 minute walk from the Gare du Juan les pins train/SNCF station and 7 min walk from the buses and about the same to the beach area. Things to bring: outlet strip for all your devices the room has only 2 outlets. The tv is plugged into one of them and a Lamp in the other. Washcloths as you are given body towel. And a mat and a smaller towel. They keep the hallway lights off to save electricity I suppose. My room faced an inner courtyard and was very quiet and picturesque. The staff is friendly and worked with me on my various needs. I had a noisy heater in the room which they attempted to fix so be sure to test your unit upon arrival. I opted to stay with it as my room was cozy. It's a bit a ways( 5 miles) from the festival main stays so opt for something closer of you will need to run back and forth to your room etc. Decent breakfast with lots of options as well for 9 euros. I would stay here again if i only wanted to explore the Juan les pins area.
