The Australian Prospectors & Miners' Hall of Fame is a hall of fame that recognises significant figures in the history of Australia's mining industry. It was established in 2001 at a site on the Goldfields Highway at Mullingar, on the outskirts of Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. It closed due to financial difficulties in 2011, and now exists primarily as a web-based resource.

Great place to spend the day experience mines great for kids to pan for stones or gold specks
An interesting insight into the origins of the local mining activity.
Cool museum! They have a lot of historic mining equipment and everything it well explained.
Worth a visit. Some interesting exhibits there. The gold panning is a farce.
Intersting but not much atmosphere. Thought we were going to see a gold pour as advertised for the day....turned out not to be gold at all but the process is the same i guess. Good to have mine truck there to climb on to.
