Good place, good experiences, reasonable price, beautyful swimming full and good service.
EXCELLENT BASIC MODERN FACILITIES. Well Maintained to Date. Very Hospitable Operator & Staffs. Above average room comfort with comfy bedding and clean linen. RAW RUSTIC wooden interiors (only for minimalists to appreciate). Ultimately one of the BETTER rooming facilities on Nipah Bay. For those who appreciates Basic Modern Comfort, Hospitable Staff, Cleanliness & yet getting a good feel of LOCAL Pangkor Flavors..... JOE'S FISHERMAN INN without hesitation. Nice size swimming pool and wonderful for small families and small groups. Please bring your own insect repellent for those sensitive to insects (afterall we are in a local kampung environment, city folks reminder). Heading To Pangkor Island "JOM PERGI JOE'S FISHERMAN INN"!
Booked this place for a short 2 nights stay. When I took a pink taxi from the ferry Jetty to Nipah Beach, taxi uncle told me that this place is a Malay Kampung and ask me why I choose this place :( ? Upon arrival, I was greeted by none other then Joe himself. Joe is a very friendly host, check-in is a bliss. This place is only about 2 years old and the condition is still very good. There are already many review about the breakfast, pool and room. All I'll say is that it is value for money. The whole experience is more like a homestay or Airbnb. Joe has this personal touch that is very important to make guest feels comfortable and welcome. The best beaches in Pangkor is just minutes away and there are plenty of good eatery around. If you want to stay at a hotel like establishment, this is not the place for you. If you like a cosy and friendly environment, Joe fisherman Inn is the correct place for you. Joe is extremely attentive and helpful, he went the extra mile to make our short stay a memorable one. I am so glad that I made this choice and will definitely be back again. Highly recommended! Joe is an Extraordinary Host!
Great stay with nice and rustic room deco, big pool for kids, free delicious breakfast and near to the beach.. I suggest, you should rent motorcycle to exploring the island for food, beaches and views.. We really enjoyed ourselves here.
Room made from wooden pallet, good for those who are looking for a unique place for weekend gateway. The owner, Mr Ragu & his staffs are very friendly and will recommend you the reasonable place for dinner. Highly recommended.
Not necessarily your idea of a super comfortable and clean place. But it does give a rather cosy vibe. The sheets are a bit dirty and yellow. The lock is very old school with locks and keys. I accidentally locked my roommate in heh 😅 The toilet is a bit shabby. There's ants crawling in from the window at the top. Other than that, they have an amazing pool. And the owner of the restaurant is extremely friendly and insightful about the island. He personally cooks all your food if you request for it.
If you are into beautiful hotel room, stay here. Nice wooden finish on 4 walls, and room is super comfy and clean. Hospitality is amazing.
It's a beautiful hotel, perhaps like a boutique hotel. The use of wood makes it more rustic. The owner of this place is really friendly, assisting with queries or requests. Superb service. In other reviews I've read about the Nasi lemak they serve for breakfast, and yes it is amazing. Located close to the beach, shops and eateries.
Wonderful boutique hotel. Large and clean pool. Excellent service. Good breakfast. I love it
