One of my best experiences in Nepal. Even if tourists can’t go into the temple, around the temple is a lot going on. In the evenings take cremations of Hindus place on raised platforms along the holy river. Especially for those who don’t go to Varanasi in India, i highly recommend it. We had a tour guide showing us around, especially as a non Hindu i could use some help to understand the rituals. He didn’t want a fix price, we just could give him what it was worth for us.

This is one of the most visited place in Nepal. people from India especially visit Nepal to visit Pashupatinath Temple as it is most important tourist destinations it is also very well maintained Systematic but the recent earthquake shook it off and destroyed it completely still the main sanctum stands as it is there are also numerous small temples around it and it's too important and great as per mythology in Hindu religion a must visit place not only because of its religious importance but also how well it is being maintained in the valley along with its scenery and other market areas

I just be there every dusk for evening prayer dedicated to Lord Shiva. It's really a peaceful place to chill with your loved ones. It's a religious destination for various Hindus around the world. It is regarded as one of the most important temples of Shiva. And the holy river Bagmati also carries various religious importances. I go there to spend my time with books and sometimes diary too. I love this place personally. There are various facilities like toilet and desks to sit. You'll get an awesome memory to remember.

Interesting place to visit. Not allowed in all areas as its forbidden to tourists. The cremations are done publicly on the banks of the river which may be confronting to some people but it is a beautiful ceremony and fascinating to see.

This one the most important temple for Hindu Devotees and the devotees all around the world come here to visit this temple of Lord Shiva. The place is really good and you find peace when you visit the place. You can see lots of artifacts and the ancient statues here and n the premises. holy place of Nepal which is also included in the list of world heritage site. people from Hindu caste only can enter inside of the temple to worship lord Shiva. But the people from other countries than Nepal can only visit outside of the temple. this is great holy place of all time. i thought everyone should visit this holy place.

Hindu Devotees around the globe have a deep respect for Pashupatinath Temple, a World Heritage site, and have a strong wish to visit here for worship. The temple has a large area, a part of which, has been nicely developed. Further development is in progress. However, the forest area needs to be cleaned and managed properly. The temple area should also include facilities for disseminating ancient Sanatana teachings and meditation techniques.

Temples located at the bank of river, with many artistic monuments around can be found. Major attractions for foreigners will be to see the hindu rituals on the deceased. Sadhus follower of lord shiva are quite a sight as well. This place is huge... So go with time and patience and enjoy the peaceful ambience. And the view of the temple from the top of other Bank of river is just amazing.
