I love the place, yes it needs an injection of capital expenditure but the Staff deal with what there is. A great place for kids and young at heart with plenty to see and then do again. Great to visit when there is an event happening, the people with the Engines (end August beginning of September) are an interesting bunch to talk to. I wish it was nearer home I'd volunteer to work there. Take the kids, slip their lead, off they pop...magic😂🤣😉

Really impressed with this attraction, massive grounds with loads of exhibits to see. Would be lovely to take a picnic on a sunny day, some great places to sit with views over the river Humber. We were time limited and had about 2 and a half hours here, and it was not enough. With a bit of investment this could be a five star attraction, it's just looking a bit tired in places, it seemed like dedicated staff have done a great job on limited funds. Thoroughly recommend a visit, it's relatively cheap too

Lovely day out. We are a family of three disabled 43yr and a 21 and 18 yr old. Entry prices great. There was an event on today which was well organised. Food was lovely and the two lady who run the little cafe were very helpful. Although we had a wheelchair and the disabled guest couldn't access much due to the listing of the building and therefore no changing being unable to be made there was plenty to see and do xx made to feel very welcome by all. All staff very informative x

We had a couple of hours to kill and Fort Paull was nearby so thought we'd have a wander around. The staff seem helpful and informative, particularly the lady whom we paid our entry fee too. She gave us a rundown of what was where, and gave us a map of the site. The exhibits are a main part of the attraction, along with the actual fort itself, and although they were great to look around, I was a bit disappointed to find that they were thick with dust and cobwebs inside. It gave the impression of neglect, although I'm sure that's not the case. There were lots of rooms and areas, depicting various times in history that the fort was used and for one thing or another, and it was nice pottering about with no particular rush. It was a lovely sunny day when we went, but I imagine it'd be a fab place to come on a rainy day too as there are loads of indoor things to see. The children's play area was great fun, and the obstacle course a brilliant idea. Very in keeping with the military theme. I was a little concerned about a few jagged nails here and there on the course, so be advised to keep an eye on little ones. There is a cafe on site, but I didn't get a chance to go in as we were on a flying visit. The loos were functional but tired looking with several big spiders eyeballing me from their dusty webs whilst I did my ablutions. The gift shop was well stocked with all kinds of relevant historical things, books, toys etc but I was a bit disappointed that it smelled really strongly of stale smoke. Maybe the smoking area was a little too close to the door? Overall, really enjoyed the visit and will be going back this year to spend longer there. Well worth a visit as there is plenty to do and see.

Took my little 4 year old boy here today. Well worth the £6.50 entry fee. there is stacks of history to be seen, and plenty to read up on. with a little imagination, you can really get to feel what the occupation of Fort paull throughout the ages was like. There are some very interesting below surface quarters with manikins depicting what went on within the confines, a very large plane to walk around, a train carage, and an extensive collection of action men figures which took me back to my childhood. There is a little kids play area which I must say is in desperate need of attention, but my little boy loved it non the less. We had some lunch in the on sight cafe which was nice enough with friendly staff, you can even get a beer in the bar too. It would be great to see some real investment put into fort Paull, it could be a real winner, as it's a little run down. I'll be looking forward to the events that they hold during the year when we visit fort Paull again

Paid a visit for a battle reenactment and loved it. There is also a small museum structure to the place that has some very interesting information. The cafe does basic but tasty food. Certainly recommended.

Pretty good place, and history abound! There is plenty to see and do, and with various activities within the grounds like WW2 themes, and Classic car shows, makes this an interesting visiting experience.

A wonderful, bizzare mix of tableaux and exhibits from world War Two, Henry the eight and a random assortment of medieval scenes. The place is falling to pieces and there is no wheelchair access and I wouldn't bring anyone infirm or who has mobility issues. But the ramshackle nature of the fort just adds to the experience. How they get public liability insurance is beyond me but I absolutely love this place!

Parking is easy, the main reception is a little off putting but as soon as you walk inside of the fort it opens up. The exhibits go from right following around the fort to make a circle. They feature WW1 and WW2 era mannequins that paint a picture of life back then. It then goes back to Tudor era with cool tunnels to go down! I recommend having a good shout going down the tunnels as the echo is great! As you carry on following around you get to see plans and weapons used in war! I recommend this place as it is great for a sunny day with a friend or partner.

Excellent Museum. Lots of underground tunnels to visit giving a glimpse into life during the war. Loads of information given (so don't forget glasses if you need them!) You need at least 3 or 4 hours to wander round , looking and reading. If you are going on a cooler day take a jumper or jacket as the tunnels are colder than outside. Play area and cafe available, plus a small gift shop. Interesting day out.

Absolutely Loved it. So much to see,very interesting for adults and children. We went a a group of 8, with an age range of 6-64. Fantastic play area. Super cowboy event was running. And a really lovely reasonably priced cafe. Typical littke gift shop.
