Fantastic place! It is very small which is great for not getting lost and the landscaping is beautiful. Swimming with the dolphins was a powerful learning experience. Snorkeling in the coral reef was truly magical. All the animals were beautiful! Be careful in the aviary though- you might get pooped on! The food was great. I am vegan with a dairy allergy and the staff was extremely accommodating to me and knowledgeable as to the ingredients in all the food. Great place!

Second time at DC and I would recommend this to families and couples alike. The best place to swim and relax plus you can even snorkel with rays and tropical fish. Kids absolutely loved it (11 and 9 yrs old). The optional dolphin swim is also wonderful. It's a must do for your holiday of a lifetime experience. The numbers of guests are limited each day so it never seems too busy or crowded. Breakfast, lunch and snacks/drinks all included too! Great experience.

The ticket to swim with the dolphins include a 20 minutes water interaction with 1 dolphin at a time (shared with the rest of the other 9 people in your group) and a 10 seconds swim with 1 dolphin that carries you on her side. Really short but enough to appreciate these beautiful animals. The water in the dolphins pool is very cold (73 degrees F) so I recommend you to wear a full neoprene suit if you are not a cold water lover. The included food and drinks are cheap but the rest of the services and installations are very good so the overall experience was great !

Even though it was the coldest day of the year, the water was warm and swimming with the dolphins incredible. Neoprene wetsuits helped with the cold. Face mask and snorkel was included-we snorkeled with the fish in a deep (warm) lagoon. After the water fun we visited the bird area. The colorful birds land on your arm and eat out of your hand. There is more...a definite must see.

I cannot rate Discovery Cove high enough. Our daughter must be in a wheelchair. During our Dolphin Swim, which was her Wish, two gracious assistants supported her in the water while encouraging her to interact with the dolphins. We ended the day swimming as a family on the Wide River, exploring the Aviary, and visiting with otters & monkeys until the park closed. After our week in Florida, the family agreed that, given the chance, we'd spend a week at Discovery Cove and Sea World, rather than try to take in all the parks.

Well worth the price. If you like to swim and snorkel, you will have the time of your life. The sting rays are gigantic and there is every tropical fish you can think of. It is actually encouraged to touch the rays while they are swimming with you. Such a cool experience. And... the all inclusive deal is great as well. The food was much better than I expected it to be.

Been here twice. A very relaxing atmosphere with clean everything and trees everywhere. Feels like a retreat the moment you park your car. You get what you pay for. Come early and enjoy your breakfast. Loved their snack bar. Alcoholic and non-alcoholic frozen drinks were so refreshing and delicious! My family swam with the dolphins, Didn't buy their photo package. They allowed me to take photos by a rock, and the dolphin trainer even gave me a photo opt. The water is cold! The dolphins and sting rays like it at a certain temperature. Hope you enjoy your visit!

This is the park that all other parks should be measured by. Your experience starts from the time you enter the parking area that is tiny.. because there are VERY few people allowed entry into the park each day! Going into the beautiful entry building you get concierge service from the get go. We had the trainer for a day package, they checked us in, and had us sit on a very comfortable couch to wait for our trainer to arrive. We had a trainer named Julie ( wish I knew her last name). She had been there for many years and I cannot believe they have a better more knowledgeable or service oriented employee. I cant post enough positives about her. The day was MAGICAL in every way, from petting a sloth, to the anteater, to the kinkajou. Learning how the water and food was taken care of also was great. The two dolphin interactions were so wonderful my best friend cried. This is a once in a lifetime experience that is worth EVERY penny. MAJOR KUDOS to the people running the park!

We loved this place!! Not too crowded so that was a big plus. Everybody there is very friendly and helpful. The dolphin trainers are very knowledgeable and the dolphins are very well taken care of. The beaches are beautiful and very clean and lifeguards everywhere. The food was delicious and hot. If you're looking for great family fun, this is the place to go. It's well worth the money.

Truly a fantastic experience. The park was just as advertised. We loved the opportunity to snorkel for the first time. Staff was much better here than Seaworld. Can't say enough about the staff. I loved all the amenities and the ease of experiences. Wish we had done the Dolphin swim now but gives us a reason to come back!

This place totally surprised my family and I. My teenage daughters (17) both say that this was the best experience they have had at any park! Staff are great, water was just right, Dolphins were awesome and the swim with fish was amazing. Lazy river was very relaxing and seeing otters ..just wow..and the little monkeys.. . Great place to spend the day with the family!

Our family (two adults and three boys aged 5-10) spent the day there today and everybody had a fantastic time. As some previous reviews noted there weren't any shady chairs open that I noticed - but that was completely fine since we spent every single minute that we weren't busy eating in one or another of the water areas! Between snorkeling the reef surrounded by fish and rays (and occasionally touching the latter, sometimes without even meaning to), and the amazingly relaxing lazy river - which is actually deep enough to swim in (8' deep for long segments) not to mention that it goes right through the aviary - I couldn't have pulled the boys out if I had tried. I was particularly impressed with the staff, from the front door to the food service to the lifeguards and all the rest; all were phenomenally friendly and helpful. We even managed to screw up and showed up on the day after we had reserved - but no worries, they fixed it with a smile. Bottom line, we all had a great time and are already talking about coming back in a few years. PS - we didn't bother with a cabana, and I'm glad we didn't; see above regarding not actually ever needing a chair other than at meals! My one and only beef - and not an unexpected one - is the crazy high price of pictures... We put cell phones in dry pouches and used them (and I took photos of my wife and the two older kids with the dolphin while on shore with the youngest who was under the 6-years-old cutoff for that) and have not amazing but certainly adequate photos without dropping a couple of hundred bucks on them.

The most amazing experience of our trip. It's a place where dreams come true. Would highly recommend this unique encounter with dolphins. Felt very privilege from entering Discovery Cove until leaving. Beautiful resorts all guests experience 5 star treatment. Food delicious and extremely clean.

One of the most amazing and magical experiences outside of Disney World that you can have. You get up-close-and-personal with dolphins and other sea life. They take care of her meals both breakfast and lunch and your drinks both alcoholic and non-alcoholic it's very children friendly. They have a coral reef area where you can meet Stingrays and be up and close in personal with the most beautiful fish that you can see at the coral reef area I also have a lazy river. There whole atmosphere is very much like a beach that you would go to outside of the US. I recommend this to families or Honeymooners all people would enjoy this type of get away for a day.

My wife and I went to discovery cove for our 5 year anniversary and it was absolutely amazing! The food was better than expected and the ability to grab-n-go for snacks and non-alcoholic drinks was awesome. Snorkeling in the grand reef as the fishes and rays swam beside us was incredible. The staff was extremely courteous and played a significant role in providing patrons the best experience possible. Poor weather and some sassy dolphins caused delays in our participation in the dolphin swim and seaventure, but the staff was great and made sure we got the full experience. We have already recommended discovery cove to family and friends, and we will definitely attend again.

The most amazing place ever. Its like stepping into a little paradise island. Our dolphin Clipper was just beautiful and we really enjoyed swimming and interacting with her. The food was really really nice here too. The pools are warm and the lazy river is so relaxing

Excellent theme park and very impressive staff. Parking is free. Everyone is friendly and helpful. Food and drinks are all you can eat and quality is what you would expect. Lazy river is probably the best I have ever been on. Dolphin encounter was done very well and the reef is awesome. Went on a rainy day and glad we did. Will go back again and try a different encounter.

We loved it !!! Both kids and adults had a great time . Ronnie and Nicholette with the dolphin encounter were knowledgeable and helpful. The grand reef was a great way to introduce our young children to snorkeling. The only thing I was unhappy with was in the tropical river there were unavoidable water falls and depth changes which I didn't know about before going in with my 8 month old. Parking was ample and close to the park. The initial line to get in was long but moved at a reasonable pace. Food was good. Beer, wine, and some frozen drinks included with food and drink for the day. Staff was so friendly and wished me a happy birthday all day long because I got a special badge for my birthday month. Picture prices were a little ridiculous but that's everywhere down there. We would go again.

This place is amazing. Our second visit was as good as the first. We brought our 18 month old twin boys and 11 year old twin daughters and everyone had a blast. Love the laid back tropical atmosphere while having numerous activities to pick from including an outstanding reef for snorkeling. They also provided complimentary beach strollers with big pneumatic tires that made it very easy to get our baby boys around.

Discovery Cove was the favorite part of our vacation. The staff was friendly and the park was super clean. Our day was relaxing and refreshing! Swimming next to sharks was my favorite! If you're looking for an up close and personal encounter with sea animals this is it! They also have birds, marmosets and otters!! Our admission price included meals, snacks, and ADULT beverages!!

Clean, friendly staff, well organized and absolutely fun. It was not crowded. I did the dolphin Excursion and it was amazing. A very enjoyable and relaxing day trip. The food was okay but it was available all day. Something to note is that alcohol such as wine beer and a frozen drinks is included in the basic package which is not very clear on the website. No need to upgrade. My only criticism is the website it is a bit confusing with regards to in putting your reservation as it refers to you as guest 1 guest to guest 3 guest 4 even though you're only one person. But definitely a must do on your list of activities when in Orlando I'm certainly going back and taking my children this time.

This place for me was one of the highlights in Orlando it's a treasure amongst the other theme parks. Get there early then have your breakfast there because food and drink is all inclusive. We did the optional swim with dolphins experience which was fantastic and I highly recommend it. Discovery Cove when we were there never felt over crowded due to the number of people allowed in so after breakfast you can relax grab a sun lounger and go swimming. Our 11 year daughter absolutely loved the coral reef, these are special moments that make a great holiday.

Best way to start or finish your vacation. A nice relaxing day. But not a lot to do if you have not paid extra for the Dolphin or diving experience. There is a large salt water pool were you can swim with sting rays and tropical fish. Plus a lazy river that takes about 20 minutes to complete. All drink and food is included in the price but be prepared to Q. Only one big food outlet in the park. I advise you get there early to really enjoy the park. Get your breakfast there.

Not your typical amusement park. This park offers a unique experience that you wont find at the other places. While there are no roller coasters or water slides, if you find exploring the beauty of Gods amazing creations thrilling then this could be the place for you. Very much family friendly and accommodating for all ages. While some may find the admission price to be expensive, we were pleased to enjoy an environment that was much less stressful than your typical amusement park as I do not enjoy standing in hot lines all day for a few minutes of rides. Also, keep in mind that the very friendly staff here deserve a decent paycheck as much as anyone else for their hard work. Also, the top notch care and love for animals that these people provide help in the preservation and care for these creatures in the wild. Overall a great opportunity to experience a fascinating part of our world that most people dont get to enjoy. The hard work that these people do benefit not only us but the amazing creatures that God has created also. My whole family had a wonderful time here. Thanks to all the staff from the friendly greeters to the dedicated caretakers of the sea.

Swim with the dolphin is awesome. Personal interaction only last for 5 minutes or less cause there is others in your group. Once it is over the rest is... let me be nice. Coral reef is nice but does not take long. Then the rest is food and drinking. Nothing to see on lazy river and you will rub knees on rocks with no warning often. Sea world is much better!!!! Very disappointment. Will never go back. Don't waste your money. Do the extra adventures at Sea World. There is many things you can pay for there that is much better.
Quinnringo | Jul 21, 2018
Well worth the cost of admission. I can’t believe I’m saying it, but it is. Never will you get to see as many fish and variety of fish when you snorkel in the ocean. Dolphin encounter was exciting and professional. The freshwater lazy river is the best. I’d pay admission just to float in it. I hope that Sea World continues to move in this direction with their programming. This type of attraction will help families learn more about protecting our oceans and wildlife. Well done Sea World!
