Secret Buddha Garden, also known as Magic Garden and Heaven's Garden and Tarnim Magic Garden is a private sculpture park atop Pom Mountain (also called Khun Nim Peak), one of the highest peaks on the resort island of Ko Samui in Surat Thani Province, Thailand.
The site is not a wat (temple) but a private undertaking by a retired durian farmer Khun Nim Thongsuk who began building it in 1976, at the age of 77, and continued to do so until his death at the age of 91. The site features many statues of Buddha and other aspects of Thai Buddhism, and also of birds and snakes and other animals, and a pair of statues of the founder's parents and a statue depicting him and father holding hands. The main group of statues in the site is a number of angel statues, and a group of musicians. Khun Nim's tomb is also found on the site, up a short path from the angel statues. The site also features waterfalls within the Garden.

This is a must-see stop on any island tour! It was so calm and relaxing being there. The person who created this is truly amazing. The placement of the statutes and the “hobbit” homes is so intriguing. If ever I were to return to Samui, I would make an effort to come here for a whole afternoon as opposed to just a stop on a tour. It’s a great place to have a picnic and just sit and read a book. It’s got a magical atmosphere about it. I would have loved to stay longer. The entrance fees is 80B per person which I would say is very reasonable considering the effort that the person has made. If only it were possible to stay overnight, I would. A must-see!!

Rent a motorcycle, enjoy the ride (be careful) and continue on to the waterfall. Best way to forget the busy beaches for a day. Don't forget to stop by a roadside mom and pop shop to buy a drink. They need your business...

Fascinating space full of deities, flowing water and tall guardian trees. The bike ride up is steep but do-able and entrance is 80Baht pp. Dont miss this rare mysterious place of soulfulness. The sound of the water alone is an incredible healer.

The statues somehow don't seem that ancient. The ride to the place does deserve the three stars.... Once you get there there's not.much to do or see. You can be done in 15 mins. Some of the structures are definitely made using concrete recently.

We did not know what to expect. This is a hidden gem! Tucked up in the jungle atop a mountain is this Buddhist garden with cool statues all around this creek/stream.

I thought it would be a garden? Definitely not a gathering of interesting flowers or plants. The natural foliage is nice though, along with the ancient looking statues. Unfortunately, this site is only about 50 years old. But, it's neat, and the stream of water is nice. I wasn't blown away, but I'd go again. Rent a scooter and ride it up there, that was most of the fun to me. You go so high up the mountain your ears pop, and the view is breathtaking!

Very unique little place on top of a mountain! A nice break to get away into some cooler clean air on the mountain side when you want a change from the beach. Had alot of fun scootering up to check this place out. Definitely recommend going that way if you want to visit. If you like statues and being surrounded by lush jungle then this is your place. I found it very peaceful. Not a huge space but quite serene being surrounded by light running waterfalls. Could spend an hour here maybe. Sitting and relaxing and checking out the different stories the statues have to tell. Definitely recommend the visit. Costs something like 80-100B to get in. It's worth it.

On Ko Samui are places which is cheapest and better. Entrance here is 80 THB. In the area is lot of small sculptures and little waterfall. Honestly I had better experience from the journey on this place through inland than from this garden :-).

This was a beautiful little gem ! 80thb to walk through. It was small but so peaceful and beautiful. The drive up is also just as enjoyable.

This place is unique in Samui, and possibly all of Thailand. It's just a little waterfall and river with statues and little miniature houses built along the banks. A nice place to get out of the sun for a little while in the afternoon.

Although this area looks a little run down it actually adds to its charm. There are so many statues to discover hidden behind old buildings and in the forest. The secret garden is peaceful early morning and late afternoon. When the tourist buses arrive it changes from a peaceful haven to madness. The Tar Nim Waterfall is also located here not the best of waterfalls but worth a visit.

The secret buddah garden offers a great break away from the blistering sun under the jungle canopies next to a mountain water stream. It's about a 30 minute walk through although one can spend more time there at a slower pace. The sculptures are done very well and offers great photography practice and pictures. The drive up and down the mountain path was part of the journey here and just as enjoyable with great views of the jungle and over the island.

Pretty cool place. Kind of tropical rainforesty. The view on the way up is also amazing and worth the trip. Watch out for the giant spiders and spider webs though...

A curious and beautiful garden. It consists in a set of elves statues located in the middle of nature. Is a very calm place. The entrance is 80 THB. Is is located at the top of the mountain and reach the garden riding a bike is a very great experience.

Its a beautiful place to come and visit! The grounds are filled with little concrete statues that have been weathered and covered in moss giving them a real authentic feel. Small shop at the top for drinks both hot and cold and acquit parking for both cars and scooters. The drive up is good but be aware of the potholes that riddle the road and the guard station at the bottom from one direction that worried us but they waved us through. Its not an easy walk as the stairs are steep and uneven though i wouldn't call it unsafe so just keep it in mind when taking small children or older people. We spent about an hour there making it well worth the trip.

A bumpy ride brings you to a site with a lot of concrete statues. They are not old nor exceptional but if you are nearby, you might as well visit the garden. Go see some waterfalls instead.

A great place up the top of the mountain, we had a car and the road up is very steep but easily navigated. The place is amazing but they have not spent any time or money maintaining it, which kind of adds to the charm but let's it down at the same time . Good for an hours visit probably at most.

It's a different place due to the fact that the statues are mixed with the forest so, makes it kinda interesting. Besides, there are not many things to do in Koh Samui so... You can also take funny pictures. It takes around one hour the whole visit; is not very big and it only depends on the amount of pictures you want to take.
