Excellent view on Krakow and surrounding villages. Very nice museum about the time of the fortress in 19th and early 20th century. Worth the visit even it is outside Krakow

The view takes your breath away! It is definatelly worth a visit, and the small fee you pay when you get trough the fortresses walls. Spend a moment to read the story of the palce. It is also easy to get there from Krakow old town, with bus 101.

Very nice place to visit. Wonderful view on the city. It is possible to come with public bus, infact the bus stop is in front of the main entrance. On the top, the space for people is not to much, so you could need more time to take photos or stop to look at the city

It's really excellent place to visit during winter. Not many people and if the weather is good you will be amazed by the panorama. It's really beautiful and worth coming!

Nice place for sunset and view on the town. Reduced price for the entrance is 10 zl and normal is 14 zl. You can come here with bus 100 and 101 which are going every one hour or so.

There are two ways to access the mound, you can walk up either through a wooded area on one side or using the main road to walk up. However there is also a bus which you can take which takes you right to the fort at the top. The bus travels back down as far as the conference centre. There is a small entrance fee or free with the Krakow card. You can climb to the top of the mound and see panoramic views across Krakow. The view alone is spectacular. There are also 3 exhibitions and museums in the fort. One of which is dedicated to an American civil war hero who was from Poland. There are several cafes at the fort. Recommend a visit.

Great views over Krakow and a lovely forest walk from city centre. If that's not your thing, there are also buses that run to/from the centre. Be sure to check out the other museums of the fortress while you're there. There are also lovely cafes/restaurants with outdoor terraces to enjoy summer sun.

Fantastic view of Krakow and only a 12minute uber. There is a little museum and a nice walk up the mound. You only need an hour or so here.

An amazing view from the top of the mound. Look our for signs pointing to the three museum areas, one of which is in the bus/coach park near the road entrance to the mound, where there are also toilets (free) located.

Walked all the way here in the baking heat from the centre of town with my wife. The mound was exactly as expected: a bloody great big pile of earth. Got to the top, smiled at the epic view, turned around and walked all the way back home. Exhausted but quite happy. 5 stars!!

Amazing!! Pleasant walk through the country from Salwador tram stop. And suddenly there you are, by a great circular fortress with a massive mound in the middle. Easy walk up and great views from the top!!
