It was a lovely little walk, just far to short. We spent so long walking to the mound, it was just really dissappointing that it was so short. However it was a great view and on a nice warm day its nice to spend some time up there just watching the world around. They shoud put up some seats or somethin because at the top is just hard gravel floor so we didnt stay up there too long
Definitely worth the walk up - providing fantastic views of Krakow from the top. It is within walkable distance from the city centre. The bar across from the mound is an enjoyable place to stop and have a beer whilst enjoying the view. I definitely recommend this if you are visiting Krakow for more than a couple of days.
Beautiful mound with great view. Also accessible during the night. Highly recommend!
Well worth a walk out to see the city, especially if you're getting in on a early flight. Leave the bags at the hotel and take a walk down to really get your bearings with an amazing view of the city.
calm and quite place ..good view of whole krakow city
Great vantage point to see Krakow's Old Town and Wawel Castle, and a really interesting part of Krakow's prehistory.
Place with great views of Krakow. I strongly recommend an excursion to it.
On a clear night you will have a great view of the city.
Very good and beautiful place to see the city and spend some time along or with friends and family
Amazing view of the city. Serene, relaxing spot for a break from the city vibes.
Very fantastic and relaxing place with amazing view on the Kraków city. You can reach that place very easily from the city center by tram, what takes about 10-15 minutes. You can also very easily walk from there to another relaxing place called Park Bednarskiego and then also to Podgórze, a historic part of Kraków, what should also take not more than 10-15 minutes walking.
Amazing place in all seasons.. you get an amazing view of Krakow...sunset was shot by me..
Well worth the hike! Spectacular view. A must do while in Krakow.
A nice destination for a walk, great view both at day and at night.
From this mound you may see entire Krakow's centre very clearly. I strongly recommend to visit during stay in Krakow. This is a great break from sighseeing in city centre.
Great viewpoint. Relatively easy to reach, but high enough to see many parts of the city - including Wawel castle and an old town. Also, there is good view on stone pit. Below the peak, there is a space to make a picnic or BBQ. Personally, I prefer this place - Kopiec Kraka than Kopiec Kościuszki.
