Great bar on Pub Street! Sit out front and people watch while enjoying a $1 beer
Three words. Arrogant, untruthful, and self-important bar owner. I was offered a job here, and was told it would be $50 dollars for 8 hours of work. After having completed my first shift he pretended that he had misheard the ENTIRE conversation we had preceding my agreement to take on this job. So guess what? After 8 hours I was given $15 dollars instead and told I misheard. Yes, you’re allowed to laugh at how ridiculous this is. Because it is, essentially, ridiculous. This is a lot more money than local people make daily, so $15 is not bad for 8 hours. What is bad, is a business owner who isn’t honest and tries to take advantage of young girls travelling alone. Boycott this business. He thinks being an owner of a bar means also having no morals or honesty between him and his workers.
Stopped here for a drink with our adult daughters. Nice to have been able to get a drink at the oldest bar on Pub Street. Some good deals on drinks. Service was efficient and staff were friendly. Toilets as clean as any in this part of the world, but they also had toilet roll, hand soap and hand towels which was a bonus. Worth a visit if your on Pub Street.
