Kuala Lumpur Tower, also known as KL Tower and is a 6-story, 421-meter-tall telecommunication tower in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. It is the world's 7th tallest tower, also, Malaysia and Southeast Asia's 2nd tallest tower. Its construction was completed on 1994. It features an antenna that increases its height to 421 metres (1,381 feet). The roof of the pod is at 335 metres (1,100 feet). The rest of the tower below has a stairwell and an elevator to reach the upper area, which also contains a revolving restaurant, providing diners with a panoramic view of the city.
Races are held annually, where participants race up the stairs to the top. The tower also acts as the Islamic falak observatory to observe the crescent moon which marks the beginning of Muslim month of Ramadhan, Syawal, and Zulhijjah, to celebrate fasting month of Ramadhan, Hari Raya Aidilfitri and Aidiladha. The tower is the highest viewpoint in Kuala Lumpur that is open to the public.
Great tourist attraction. Do pay some extra money to get to the "sky deck". the view is phenomenal!! As a local, I was sad that almost none of the locals have been to the sky deck before. You can have a nice view of Kuala Lumpur from the tower. It is very cosy up there and you can stay there for as long as a few hours. I spent three hours on the sky deck to look at the nice sunset & night view of the city.

Good views all around. Go ahead and choose the upper level observation platform. The open air and breeze makes the views better. The second glass booth on the other side is not as crowded, though you don't get the twin towers in the photo. Families might want the package with other things to do, but the view is really the only reason most people go there for.

The view from the top is mesmerizing. Just check for the weather before visiting this place. They close the top floor observatory if it rains. But the best part I liked about them is, if it rains they stamp your tickets, so that you can go again to visit KL Tower.

Gorgeous view. We paid for the observation deck, sky deck and sky box. Amazing experience. Sky cafe completely overpriced and not worth it. Service was below average. The waitress was trying to kick us off our table just to accommodate some young men while we're a family of 6. Price per person RM94 with discount for over 5 persons. Usual price per person RM110. Go just for the experience.

If you want to see the city from the best point then this is definitely the right spot. The top observation deck gives you unobstructed 360-degree view of the city and adjacent twin towers. You have a superb view of the whole KL city. It cost 110 RM ticket includes access to all levels. Definitely worth to visit.

Great view up top but I don’t think the price is worth it. If you ever opt for the sky box, make sure to go there early as the queue to get your picture taken is long and they only allow you a couple of picture on your own camera. Also, the price for the prints is more expensive than your entry ticket. No wonder locals don’t go up there.

A definite must do on a trip to KL. The views are spectacular and the sky box is worth the extra money. Book ahead of time online to get the best price and do check the weather. With heavy rains and thunder storms the sky deck will be closed and only the interior observation deck will be open. If you're not on the sky deck you're missing out. The observation deck limits the experience. Best time to go would be around sunset but there's the risk of rain. Tickets booked online are normally valid for a few days to a few months so you can always come back if the sky deck happens to be closed on a particular day. Restaurants inside are expensive so try to have a meal before you go. Unless you don't mind paying. It can become really busy and crowded so decide on the best time to go. Close to closing time it's a can be much less crowded.

Great views. Enjoyed the open air platform. Reasonable food and shopping alternatives. Some shops a bit pricier but its to be expected at a major tourist attraction. Other attractions close by. Plenty of local and tourist options to travel there and away. Guided tours available. Different levels and exposure. Take warm/cold clothing options as weather up top can be more severe. Can be very busy. I have found early morning can be good for quieter times.

Was splendid on my 1st visit all the way to the top. Had a beer on the roof and got a really nice seat (huge table) as it was free seating then. My 2nd visit sucked. The manager wouldn't allow my friend and I to sit at the huge table although it was unoccupied. Said it was "for family" so I had to sit at the small table which didn't have that view. There wasn't any family who turned up to occupy the spot then so I am still upset about it. Maybe I'll skip the bar next time I bring a friend up and so should you, if you go there. Just go for the views and pictures. The beer was not ice cold if you must know.

Went to the atmosphere 360-revolving restaurant. It was just okay. Local Malaysian delicacies. Overall a pleasant experience. However building needs some up keep especially the lifts and staff should be more frendly. This is supposed to be tourist spot, so please be on your best.

Iconic site to visit with 360° view of Kuala Lumpur city. A must for locals and tourist. You can visit the viewing deck or opt to splurged and enjoy a meal - lunch, tea, high tea or dinner buffet - at the revolving restaurant. Visit the website for ticketing details or restaurant reservations. Discounts available for senior/kid meals

As Malaysian, this is my first time being here. This is really tall, viewing from ground. Car parking is limited at there. You're highly recommend make your grab to there. The food at there doesn't provide much choices. My guess is due to rental is high. That's why they only can server those food with high margin. End up we go KLCC for lunch after visiting here.

Amazing experience worth every single penny. The view s awesome. Sky scrapers and cloudy sky and the dense forest like scrounging near the tower s good. Well maintained. The sky deck was my favourite. And the mini zoo was awesome too my son loved getting along with the birds and animals. Don't miss it
Suhasini vishvaMay 31, 2018
Definitely worth a visit and definitely worth paying that bit extra for the sky deck. Professional photographer there taking individual photos of everyone in the glass box, amazing 360 views, sky cafe, less crowded. The observation deck is just crammed with people and once you've seen the view from sky deck, the observation deck can be skipped plus it would mean you .ca avoid the ques for the elevator (20 minutes to get down from observation deck compared to 2 minutes from the very top)

Going to the observation deck of KL tower should be a must do on your trip to KL. When you arrive to buy tickets, it's very rushed and we were hurried into buying the combo sky deck and observation deck for 105 RM. Just the observation area would have been enough. Sure the sky deck was neat, and there is a "sky box" hanging off the building that you can take your photo in, but I didn't think it was worth the extra money. The view is just as nice as from the observation deck. Best way to get there is by taxi or Grab. It wouldn't be fun to walk as it's up on a slight hill.

Good place to visit, I have managed to be there for sunset and it was stunning view. Stuff is nice and polite, they just want to take photos of you all the time and to sell you, but they do not boarder you too much, just say you don’t want to buy and that’s it. On The top, there is terrace with glass flor where you can go to take photos, they are taking photos, but they will also take photos with your camera.definite must do on a trip to KL. To some extent the visit to the KL Tower was better than the Pretonas Towers. Lots of free time here to wander around at your own pace. The sky deck is well worth the additional fee. The sky box is amazing and terrifying at the same time . It is a glass box with a glass floor that over hangs the tower. The photographers and security guards make you feel comfortable as you step into the box. The views are spectacular. The cafe on the sky deck is expensive but the view more than makes up for the cost. Highly recommended.

Best experience - must visit along with mini zoo visit the sky deck - you get to see whole of Kuala Lumpur from here... It's 421 meter in height. One of the tallest Menara globally. If your are with kids - you should definately visit mini zoo, take a combo ticket. Playing with parrots is real fun there. I don't like animals to be caged but playing and feeding parrots is fun. You will need approx 1 hour while enjoying with animals and another 1 hour visiting the sky deck. Have fun and click photos on sky deck's glass flooring extension. Don't be afraid while standing on glass extension - it's only 421 meters above.

Menara KL Tower is easily Malaysia’s most recognizable and popular landmark. Constructed in 1994, the tower stands at 421 metres and effortlessly trumps the Petronas Twin Towers with the highest and most spectacular view of the city. This gleaming tower’s spindle-like apex is visible from almost anywhere in Kuala Lumpur. Hailed as one of the tallest freestanding structures in the world, Menara KL plays host to a revolving restaurant, Atmosphere 360. You can have a meal or enjoy high tea along with the most spectacular view of the city centre, bar chartering a helicopter

It's a bit hard to find if you are walking as there aren't many signs to point you in the right direction. When I found it I really enjoyed it. I had a triple ticket which included the observation deck, sky deck and sky box. Great views and even had drink in the cafe up on the sky deck. Great experience
