Quite expensive, but worth the time and effort. You'll spend at least 2.5 hours rediscovering scientific principles being explained by a large variety of games and exhibits. However, many of these exhibits have long exceeded their service life and really need replacement. If you are accompanied with children, make sure that you have plenty of water and snacks - those on sale inside are very expensive.

Good place to learn basic science for children. However, some of the facilities do not function well. Hope that they are repaired apart having the exhibitions updated from time to time. Besides that, I hope that the authorities can do something to improve the queue for the Dark Ride at the entrance in order to reduce the waiting time. And, a walkway should be provided at the exit for those who do not wish to get trapped at the long queue for the exit ride.

I know this is a great place although I never had the chance to get inside. My clue is their gift shop Xplorasi which is a cool store. Got my Boboiboy stuff from them.

Petrosains is a good place to learn science as they have a lot of hands on activities. It has a few main areas in science and is quite fun. It is best to bring kids here and they will enjoy the experience. When you arrive, there will be a ride to welcome you and after that, you will be on your own to explore the compound. They will take a few pictures for you but the price is very expensive. The family package they have is a very good deal and is very well worth the price. Remember to plan 3-4 hours there as there are many things to play and do there.

Great and fantastic place. It was very interesting and informative. 3 hours wasn't enough for us (2 children and 2 adults). We have so many awesome emotions after visiting.

Great place for kids to learn science. Our kids love this place. the staff are friendly too. Some elementary school student visitting this place in groups.

Very nice place for kids.. Interesting games based on science concepts and experiments. Good for a half day there. Beware of the initial entry queue, however after that it's an easy ride.

It is a fun experience for minors to get some heads up about the world of science and tech. Not necessarily many "games" if you're looking for that (there's an awesome F1 simulator with all the cockpit and stuff), but the facilities are very interactive and I think kids would like very much. The staffs are also friendly and willing to help. Located inside the mall, could be the perfect gateaway from wives on shopping-streaks (jk). Personally think it is worth a shot.

Very interesting & fun for the whole family. Starting with the Dark Ride, then the exhibits about fossils, Earth layers & rocks, dinosaurs,... and the most exciting for the kids are the many interactive exhibits! Kids really have a great time!

Having visited a couple of other science museums, I wasn't sure what to expect here. The Petrosains was a completely different experience. They had very unique ways of displaying and allowing the visitor to interact with the displays. My 6 year old thoroughly enjoyed this trip.

Visiting this place not in holiday season was the best decision I made. The place was not so crowded and i did not need to queue thus the kids and I had a great day there. I must say that I am impressed with all exhibitions there, and I did not expect my kids would enjoy that much, but they did even my 2 year-old was happy. All facilities are well-maintained, the place is clean, the staffs are helpful.

Great place to visit when you're in the middle of the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur. Here you can learn more about the petroleum industry of our country. If you're going to visit, make sure you have around 2 hours time, because you're going to be in there for a while. The last time I went there, I was inside for nearly 2 hours. Definitely worth it!

Excellent science museum type venue. Has a dark ride similar to a ghost train except it gives you a historical tour of the rainforest and other natural beauties. The science part is fun for both kids and adults.

1) suitable for all ages, child and adult 2) please come early as it will close by 6.30pm. if you come by 5pm, not enough time to explore all the exhibitions 3) for f1 fan, u will have the chance to try the simulator racing car
