Maruyama Park (円山公園, Maruyama kōen) is a park in Kyoto, Japan. It is noted as the main center for cherry blossom viewing in Kyoto, and can get extremely crowded at that time of year (April). The park's star attraction is a weeping cherry tree (shidarezakura) which becomes lit up at night. It also becomes busy in the New Year's Eve Festivals.

Beautiful park and perfect place to relax and to stroll along. It's one of the places in Kyoto I'll recommend if you want to experience Cherry Blossoms.

It's beautiful. There's even a guy playing the flute with his dog. It's like the park has its own soundtrack. Dog has its own sword. Don't mess with dog.

Decently sized park, it really shines when there are events. Unfortunately super packed at those times as well.

A nice enough park to relax and unwind. Lots of potential but felt it was just OK. Leads to a few nearby temples. No entrance fee.

Beautiful park. Very popular so lots of visitors and gifts/food shops. Not the quietest in Kyoto but for sure a must-have to visit.
