Great family break to see variety of local fruit and plants, get nice explanations and get to taste those in season including passion fruit, papaya, bananas, dragon fruit and pineapple. About 45min easy walking between the bushes.
Unexpectedly good tour for a good value. The guides were so enthusiastic and informative. It's a beautiful setting with a great mission to produce these important fruit for health and wellness. There are so many varieties!
Great place to visit. This was our second time here. Really tasty fruit to try (and the owner gave us free papayas to take home!). Very knowledgeable and friendly staff. Kids loved the zip line and especially the aquaball!
This was a great experience! We rode the zip line with our kids and they loved it! The zip line is perfect for apprehensive adults and kids. Our guide was very informative about the vegetation.
Our family (older kids, 14 and 17) visited the farm and signed up for the combo aqua ball and zipline. We were met by 3 staff who are there working the farm. Although not very professional looking, they were all friendly and we totally appreciated their effort to give us a good tour and fun time. We have no problems with the staff. However, our disappointment started soon after. We learned, once there, that dragon fruit is in season in the late summer. We were here in February, so no fruit. In our experience, the zipline and aquaball may be fun for younger families, but our kids quickly became bored with the zipline after a couple of trips and decided not to do the aquaball. We appreciated that the staff refunded us the aquaball portion. All in, we enjoyed seeing and learning about the farm and tropical fruit, but did not feel the experience was even close to wroth the money.
If you like plants, the garden tour of the dragon fruit farm makes for an interesting side trip. There is also a zipline activity which is okay for kids and parents. Thrill seekers should consider going to a bigger zipline attraction.
This farm has dragon fruit plants - only in season in November. It has a great view of west Maui and a fun place to walk around with kids.
Did not do the adventure tour. We just visited the farm part. Didn't get dragon fruit because it is out of season. Overall the experience was good. Are guide was good but was missing some knowledge on some of the plants. It is a good tour to do if you ever wondered where tropical fruit comes from.
Did the farm tour here -- very fun and educational and not too expensive either ($15/pp). Unfortunately dragon fruit was out of season while we were visiting, but they still had some to sample along with jam and dragon fruit lemonade -- delicious! Our tour guide was super nice and helpful in answering all our questions. Would definitely recommend visiting.
