Lake Point is an unincorporated community on the eastern edge of northern Tooele County, Utah, United States.
The community is located on the south shore of the Great Salt Lake and is served by Interstate 80 and Utah State Route 36. Lake Point is north of Tooele. The community was originally settled in 1854 under the name of E.T. City, in honor of Ezra T. Benson. It was renamed Lake Point in 1923.
