Langkawi Sky Bridge is a 125-metre (410Â ft) curved pedestrian cable-stayed bridge in Malaysia, completed in 2005. The bridge deck is 660 metres (2,170Â ft) above sea level at the peak of Gunung Mat Cincang on Pulau Langkawi, the main island of the Langkawi archipelago in Kedah. The Langkawi Sky Bridge can be reached by first taking the Langkawi Cable Car to the top station, where an inclined lift called SkyGlide takes visitors from the top station to the bridge.
The bridge was closed in July 2012 for maintenance and upgrading. The reopening was put off several times, but it partially reopened in February 2015. The bridge is now fully accessible.

A marvel of engineering. The ride from the cable car to the top is exciting as it gives a panoramic view of the landscape terrain. But on days when the wind is strong, the cable car is most likely to sway. The queues for the cable car can be very long, so proper planning is advised. The view from the top is amazing. At certain parts of the Sky Bridge, there are panels of glass to walk on, which is quite interesting. Seen some people actually jump over the glass panel.

Excellent Place to Visit. Nice view from the Cable Car. Has two stops. The view at the sunrise point is good. A bit windy. It gets covered by the cloud by around afternoon. It is better to always get in early to this place. The 4D shows around the place is also good. It has a chocolate outlet nearby where it can be purchased. Not the cheapest out there but a good variety is available.

One of the most beautiful attractions. The cable car's panoramic view gives you the chance to explore the island from all sides and appreciate nature's beauty. Would've been nice if the market had more water to sell as it was disappointing when we couldn't find any.

Great paranomic view from the bridge! You can see wild monkeys along the way too but do keep your belongings well (no visible food!) as the monkeys may snatch them from you. Recommend for those with elderly to take the sky glide up as the walk back up may be pretty challenging with steep steps and nature terrains.

A must visit place in Malaysia, this place is on Langkawi Island. Once you reach Langkawi Island then you can either board a sharing taxi or the best thing is you can hire a vehicle to reach sky bridge ticket counter. This place can be reached by firstly taking a cable car and then you can go either by walk or from inclined lift(sky glide). Soothing breeze, panoramic view of mountain and sea once you reach to the bridge.

This is great experience to see a wonderful landscape as well as challenging yourself with a bit of exercise if you’re up to it. Weather in Malaysia is warm so be sure to hydrate yourself. There is significant walking up and down stairs to get to the bridge however there is a lift service available - be sure to get the ticket from the beginning for this lift because the walk is challenging especially for the elderly. Due to popularity you may find yourself waiting in queues but it’s worth the wait. 😊

Such a wonderful experience. I have seen this bridge only in movies but experienced it in person now. Since it is a suspension bridge it floats a little when there is a strong wind, which is so thrilling. There a glass floor sections on the floor of the bridge on which we can stand and see the Calley underneath the bridge. But the glasses are so bad now with scratches. Two ways to get to bridge, one is the easy way and another is the hard way 😂 both are at a price. Easy one is RM15 per person which is called sky glide. It is similar to a lift but glides down over the hill. The hard way is nature walk which is RM5 per person where we have to walk 300 meters on steps down and up hill to reach the bridge.

Wonderfully engineered bridge across a deep and steep canyon. The views were delightful and as an engineer with an interest in geology very worthwhile to look at the man- and nature-made structures. You have to take the cable car to get there and then separately pay for access to the bridge so it becomes a bit expensive, especially for families.

Cable car and then sky bridge.. it's an ultimate combination. We can enjoy the view of sea at one side and hills as another while I'm cable car and then u buy separate ticket for sky bridge. Opt for nature walk for some workout and then more stunning views 😊

It's an extraordinary place. It has a beautiful view. When we go from cable car to this place we have to pay but I say it's worth the extra cash. The wind blows quite hard so use comfortable clothings and maybe avoid using head accessories that can be blown by wind. It's quite crowded normally but the vibe is still incredible. They apply some see through glass underneath our feet so that we can see what's right under us.
