Estoril (Portuguese pronunciation: [(ɨ)ʃtuˈɾiɫ]) is a town in the Municipality of Cascais, Portugal, on the Portuguese Riviera. It is a tourist destination, with luxury hotels, beaches, and the Casino Estoril. It has been home to numerous royal families and celebrities, and has hosted a number of high-profile events, such as the Estoril Open and the Lisbon & Estoril Film Festival.
Estoril is one of the most expensive places to live in Portugal and the Iberian Peninsula. It is home to a sizable foreign community and known for its luxury restaurants, hotels, and entertainment. Cascais is consistently ranked for its high quality of living, making it one of the most livable places in Portugal.
What can you say???? Sitting on a gorgeous beach overlooking the Atlantic on a February afternoon. A stone's throw from the train station and a host of bars/restaurants and cafes there to suit all budgets. Not too far from the casino of you want to go and bet your bottom dollar. Super place

We did the walk from the marina all the way to Estoril most afternoons. It's well laid out with lovely beaches and plenty of places to stop off at for a drink, snack or a meal. The best bit was people watching! Plenty to see too. Watching the surfers became habit forming. Very impressive! Although a tourist area it has a very relaxed vibe. Brilliant place to just chill.

I love this coast, like everyone calls Portuguese Riviera. So charming and beautiful landscapes. Great beaches, historical buildings, nice restaurants and bars. Great place for a walk or jog. Love it

Sorry for the staff who is nice but in the kitchen they DO NOT know how to cook seafood. There might have a problem of quality itself but the seafood is way too cooked and savourless! Over over cooked so it is just pointless to eat it: it is dry and tasteless. And this is their specialty! On the top of that, this is not even cheap. Really, run away even if you want badly to eat seafood.

Small but very nice beach. Super close to the station. I visited in June and it wasn't crowded at all.

Lovely, beautiful, clean, not that busy in April beach. Nice walking alley. Saw some surfers so may be it's good for surfing too. Or just enjoying the view of the ocean.

Another great quiet beach along the coastline. Lots of nice cafes and bars nearby.

Access to the Estoril train station, it is a pleasant stretch of the paredao (boardwalk). But it is very crowded during the summer.

Great beach, easy to get to. There is a good variety of geography, from sand to rocks to concrete. Beware, the water is cold, even in summer! The prices at the restaurant and snack bar were very reasonable for the location. There are no rentals here aside from the private beach area - so bring your own water toys. There are also no real waves, just very small ones. For no waves at all, try the ocean pool on the other side of the jetty. Watch out for sea urchins in the tide pools.

Seriously unimpressed with this restaurant. The service was fine, fairly friendly and prompt (the restaurant wasn’t very busy). However, the food was terrible. Ordered a mozzarella pizza and the dough wasn’t cooked through, had a layer of raw dough under the tomato. Then they charged us for bread and butter that we didn’t ask for, so we had assumed it was free of charge. Would not visit again. To be honest, I’d give it 0 stars if I could.

Lovely beach very clean and well kept. We didnt go swimming as the weather wasn't hot enough but the sand was great. There is a picturesque tower by the beach nice for taking pictures
