Beautiful grounds, lots of blooms in spring plus river walks. Very pretty. Lots of history. Smallish museum. No parking onsite but nearby parking (3min walk) 70p per hour. Note, closed November- January, open weekends only February, and open daily April -October. Situated in quaint historical town.

Very picturesque, small but nice grounds to explore. Minimal ruins left, but still very interesting. Lovely little museum attached...including original historic court room for area.

Fabulous place of history - the last Abbey to be closed by King Henry VIII on his Dissolution of the Monestaries order. Not only is the Church beautiful with loads F history, the Abbey grounds themselves are worth visiting which is adjacent to the Church.

A beautiful, tranquil, well-tended garden with some remains of the famous medieval abbey. Unlike some ruined abbeys, there is not much left here. However, it's a lovely spot for contemplation (especially if you're not there at the same time as a few coach loads of pilgrims, who can descent in their thousands).
