Admission was £4 for adults and £4 well spend. Lots of interesting things to do and lots of history to take in. Thoroughly recommend you go when visiting Chesire.

Decent museum with a focus on Cheshire’s military history. Interesting to see their reach and achievements. Worth a visit for people who like military museums

Very well kept , preservation of military history. This may look small but so much beautiful packed in. This history dated back over time, personal touch. The massive motorcycle, tanks and armed vehicles. A dressing up area of army issued uniforms. A massive lifelike war horse . Its a definitely worth a visit for all the family

We took a visit here recently as we have been learning about WW1 and 2. My sons really enjoyed it. They especially liked the tank and the trench but they weren’t too keen on the giant spider found in a soldiers boot. I doubt the soldier was either! 😂

I'd heartily recommend it to anyone with even a passing interest in history. There's a lot to see, including an exhibition covering the history of the Cheshire Regiment, displays on a number of wars and conflicts and one celebrating the centenary of the RAF and that's just some of the stuff there. The staff are very helpful too and are happy to answer any questions you may have. There is an admission cost of £4.00, but it's really good value, considering everything there is to see.

This was a really interesting museum to visit! The coolest sight we're the two pens on display that we're used at the signing of the Japanese surrender!
