The Dragon Bridge (Slovene: Zmajski most, historically also Zmajev most) is a road bridge located in Ljubljana, the capital of Slovenia. It crosses the Ljubljanica River. between Kopitar Street (Kopitarjeva ulica) and Ressel Street (Resljeva cesta), to the north of the Ljubljana Central Market at Vodnik Square. It was built in the beginning of the 20th century, when Ljubljana was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire. As one of the best examples of reinforced concrete bridges and of the Vienna Secession style, the bridge is today protected as a technical monument. It is intended primarily for motorised traffic.

It was all I hoped for, and more! I stayed a block away for approximately one week. My only regret is not going at different times (sunrise or sunset) to get a variety of photos of this spectacular bridge. Sigh...next time.
This is a pretty cool bridge, it has the dragons representing the leyendo of the city of Ljubljana where a hero defeated it long ago. The bridge is iconic and you can see the Castle from there up in the hill, which makes it a pretty good sight seeing spot. If you walk the river towards downtown from here, you'll see a lot of Christmas decorations and small shops, a Christmas market which you'll love. Enjoy!
Honestly I don't know how can it be that much fameuos that many city guide suggest it to see: it's a simple concrete bridge with dragons at the corners. There are many other bridges near and far which are more fancy or has historical background, or I don't know. Anyhow, the view is nice, the downtown is pretty, and you will see the bridge anyway if you come here!
Beautiful bridge guarded by four dragons, two on each end. There's a legend that the dragons' tails will move if a virgin ever crosses the bridge... wonder why it's never happened. ;)
Very famous bridge in Ljubljana - it was the first in the world to be built in a new technique steel and concrete.
An awesome tourist place. Couples come and lock their secret at the dragon bridge. There is a castle near the bridge on a mountain. Ljubljana is a good place to roam around in Slovenia. I like it.
Ljubljana's beautiful bridge - the dragon statues are set on each end of the bridge. The dragons are smaller than I thought. But it is nice and worthwhile visiting these dragons guardingvthe bridge.
One of the more classical tourist spots in Ljubljana located in the Old Town is a bridge with dragons on it which are a symbol of the city itself. Would recommend walking by.
Dragon bridge as the second most prominent in Ljubljana city. Great view and pass though Ljubljanica river
One of the most famous bridges in Slovenia. It is adorned with 4 dragons guarding it. The dragon is also represented on a coat-of-arms of Ljubljana.
Beautiful part of the city, especially at the Christmas time. Many offerings for warm drinks, food and many other!
I guess this is one of the must sees in Ljubljana. The dragons are really nice and the area clean. Good place to have some ice cream and just enjoy the city :)
Beautiful bridge with four dragons, downside to this place was the fact that cars drive through the bridge so it's nearly impossible to take a picture of it without the cars or just look at the bridge without cars driving around.
It's a Nice bridge with beautiful dragons. Love the story behind it.
