Hendon Central is a London Underground station in North West London on the A41.
The station is on the Edgware branch of the Northern line, between Colindale and Brent Cross stations, and is on the boundary between Travelcard Zone 3 and Zone 4. Its postcode is NW4 2TE. It was opened along with Brent Cross (then called Brent) tube station on 19 November 1923 as the first stage of an extension of the Golders Green branch of the Charing Cross, Euston and Hampstead Railway. The station served as the terminus of the line's western fork until 18 August 1924 when the second and final section of the extension to Edgware was opened.
Clean station with helpful staff! There is a lift for wheelchairs and buggies. Staff here always literary are looking to help passengers whom are confused or not well. This is one of my favourite stations. If there are planned engineering works information boards standing always in plenty of time.

Ok, however if you want to get to town quickly, you are better off with the national rail station, just down Vivian avenue and left

The bloke from the station was shouting no service no service at the gates. Really bad. When i ask him what and why is happening, he was not happy. I don't find it helpfull especially for the £49.00 I paid them every week. I wounder why, may be they haven't been on strike soon :))))))

I take the tube each morning from this station. Normally it is ok, but had a bad experience during the "storm". The staff was rude to people trying to find answers and they announced "no trains from this station due to an obstruction on the tracks". I didn't care to wait as the job permits it, but 90% of people on the platform left, guess what, 10 min later a train came, as per the display.

Good station with wheelchair access, four separate ticket machines and staff are often present to help the clueless. The station is also very clean.
