A beautiful park all year round, that absolutely shines from Spring to Autumn, at least partly thanks to the wonderful gardening team. There's plenty to keep your interest, from the adorable Duck Island Cottage, via the pelicans and squirrels, to the lovely floral borders. With plenty of refreshment kiosks, a restaurant, two public conveniences, and benches throughout, you might not make it as far as Buckingham Palace, but choose instead to sit and admire the surroundings.

A small paradise in the heart of the noisy city! Great place for a relaxing walk and lots of other activities. Kids can play safely and securely. There is a cafe with good coffee and tea. Lots of deserts too!

One of the most beautiful areas my wife and I visited while in london. Surprisingly varied in wildlife. Squirrels run to you for food, and randomly run across your path to get to anywhere they want to be, which I found to be a nice and amusing part of my walk through the park. Highly recommend to anyone visiting London and a nice way to get to Buckingham Palace.

A fantastic oasis from the bustle and noise. A beautiful lake, home to a fabulous selection of wildfowl. A popular restaurant. A delightful stroll takes you up into Green Park and then on to the magnificent Hyde Park.

Probably one of my favourite parks, if not places in the entire world. I don't know why I like it so much honestly but it is well kept and quite beautiful. I know parks may not seem exciting but you should definitely check it out if you have time.

I have spent many leisurely hours strolling around the Park, watching the world go by. It is a great park to chill out from the hustle and bustle of Piccadilly Circus and the Palace of Westminster. And throngs of tourists, politicians and fellow Londoners come to the park for some fresh air. You can also enjoy the wild fowls, squirrels, shrubs, ferns and trees in the park. Refreshments are also available in a large cafe and two other pop up cafes around St James's Park. It is also a great park for the whole family. The kids will enjoy the playground by the lake. The park is free and it is closed at dusk. Thank you.

It is a brilliant park where one can be calm and relax. There are a number of small cafe stools where you can purchase ice pops and food. When I come here I like to see the flower arrangements I like to also see the eclectic mix of people.

Green grass, blue water, golden sun. All provided. Add time at your end. Bliss. Seriously a short walk off Victoria station and bus stop it's popular not only because it's right next to the Buckingham palace but also because it's got a gorgeous laid back attitude what with the centuries old cedars and London plane trees punctuating the green expanse on the two sides of a central lake.

Very nice park in the middle of London. There are all kinds of birds and they even have pelicans. Someone from the park is feeding them every day with fish. Unfortunately they didn't want any when we were there, the guy feeding them said the pelicans don't like him. 😅

Beautiful day out at St James's Park to catch the last of the cherry blossoms for Spring. Find the blossom trees near the entrance along Birdcage Walk, facing Big Ben. There is also a beautiful lake with many variety of wonderful birds. Definitely a great day out venue!

Beautiful park. Stunning views of the palace from across the lake. Nice cafes and lovely ice cream shops dotted round the park. Grass is really clean and if you prefer can hire deck chairs for £1.80 an hr. Good toilet facilities and very clean but there is a 20p charge but a change machine is outside. Lots of green parrots flying round which was novel for me but I also liked the soldiers parading down the mall on horseback. Play area for kids is fantastic so well worth a visit.

Beautiful park on Pall Mall with views to Buckingham Palace. It's easy to get to, from Victoria station it's 15 minutes walk or St James Park station is a short distance also. It's a great Park for everyone, families, joggers, dog walkers, sunbathers etc. It's a huge park and can accommodate everyone. The man made lake is full of ducks and swans all belonging to the Queen of course. There is a kids area with slides and swings, and a cafe and bathroom nearby. There are other facilities near the entrance/exit but you have to pay 20p to use it.

Beautiful Park between Buckingham Palace and The Churchill War Rooms. This park is lively and welcoming. Walking through the park on a Saturday afternoon in August, you see people everywhere picnicking and just taking in the sun. The lake has a variety of birds and huge fish. Carp? I'm not really sure. There is also a lovely little cottage along the edge of the lake

One of the lungs of London, this is a lush park with beautiful trees and carefully tended flower beds. As you walk by the water, you can see the London Eye behind you and Buckingham Palace in front! There are several herons and some will gladly show you their "best side"! There is a charming cottage with a flourishing colourful garden. Plenty of space to walk along the paths or to doze on the grass. There's also a cafe where you can, if the weather's fine, take your refreshments outside. It's a great place to recharge your batteries.

The prettiest of the central London parks. Can get fairly busy due to its close proximity to Buckingham palace especially after the changing of the guard in the morning. Due to its lake gets lots of fairly exotic migratory birds. Quirky fact, the pelicans here are descendants of pelicans given to the British monarch by Peter the Great of Russia. Has a very nice cafeteria.
