I love everything about this park: the boat rides are great for couples and families. The play area with a cafe selling ice cream and chips is great too. It's a large park so you can always find a quite area. I particularly love the cafe near the mansion serving homemade cakes. It has a beautiful walled garden, which can be enjoyed in the summer. There's also the landscaped gardens which are pure joy.

Great Park to visit. Larger than I thought with a nice lake, playground for kids or just benches to sit down and relax. In season there are boats, a place to eat and car park too. I have never seen so many squirrels in one location. They are friendly and very active. It was nice and clean at the time of my visit. Highly recommended!

Returned to the park after 40 years when I used to go there as a child. Lovely open space with excellent children playground next to park cafe. Reasonable good snacks etc in a 50s style. Brought back a lot of memories.

Great park. You have lots to do here, from walking, jogging, cycling, playing tennis or football or badminton . Has an area for children with swings. There is also a cafe and ice-cream shop. Huge lake with different kind of birds. The swans are amazing.

Lovely clean park with something for everyone. Good walks, great cafe, lots to see if you like plants and birds. Have been going there for over 30 years and my children take theirs now.

This park is absolutely huge and has some interesting areas such as kids play area, coffee shops for grown up and families, a boating lake, a house that you can visit and rose garden, etc. You can also go for long walk and loose yourself in there. They sometimes have an orchestra playing lovely music. If you are interested in wildlife. There's plenty of those there. I especially love the squirrels. In all it's just a great place to relax.

A lovely park near Ilford. It has several entrances. There is a massive lake. Huge play area for kids. Toilets. Cafe where they sell ice cream. There’s some parking inside but too busy, I would recommend to park on the surrounding streets. You can also play tennis on the tennis course. There’s a mansion with a nice garden. Huge massive place you need 1-2 hours to walk around. Great for families, picnic, day out. Family friendly.

I think that this park is very picturesque, because you have an array of flowers, and you have the large stream the ducks, and also the Valentine's museum along with the tea room. I think that you would take about 30 minutes to walk from one end to the other of this Park. It is located 10 to 15 minutes away from Ilford station, and send you to a different world of peace and harmony.

Clean and safe place to take kids to the play area or take the dogs for a walk. Often there's a football or cricket match going on in the middle of the park. There's a cafe in the centre. Some small lakes with ducks and swans. Fine for a picnic. There is parking you have to pay for, about £1.12 per hour with the Ringo app - there's no option for cash or card. There is free parking in the side roads opposite. There are plenty of seating areas and lots of pretty flowers and plants.

Great large green space. The park can be little more maintained, but it still very good to relax and have long evening walks. It also provides a good space to bring young kids.
