This is the only dog beach I've ever been to but it was spacious and not crowded (on a Monday morning in late January). Pretty clean as well. There was room to play with a soccer ball on the sand and in the water. One of the other dogs stole my shoe and the owner had absolutely no voice control over the dog to get it back.

Rosie's dog beach is an amazing find as we can keep our dogs off leash and let them enjoy each other and the Waters of the Pacific Ocean. You'll find so many dog lovers there and everyone gets along very well the dogs play around with each other and the people there. There are plenty of doggie bags so you can pick up any messes that are deposited along the way, be respectful of the beach. Parking currently is free although it looks like they might be putting in some parking meters so none the less it's still a wonderful experience to share with your puppy or puppies and just have a wonderful day there.

If you live anywhere near LB it's the place to bring your pet. They are so happy in the sand! Plus of you're a guy like me, it's easy to chat with girls since they generally love a guy who loves his pet. Awesome time here and I will be returning regularly

It's no fiesta island, the waves can get pretty strong.... But the boys enjoy it. There's a one dog per human policy, so be aware of that. A few times someone was ticketing. Also BEWARE... Apparently baby sting rays chill in the sandbars in waist high water... The hubs got stung in the foot. I've also seen some ghetto dogs, so just be on guard. Plenty of parking, they are currently redoing the lot, so it's free for now.

This is the coolest and best location to take your dog of any place I know of in the South Bay area. You can run and play with your dog on the beach with NO LEASH and be completely within the law. My experiences have been positive there so far and the pet owners love it, but especially your dog will Love it. Nice beach and water, seems to be well maintained.

You cannot beat a dog beach. This is a small dog beach but still can't beat it. It's located in Belmont Shore so it's perfect for a dog-friendly lunch then a short walk to romp on the beach with your patient pup. It is usually more windy here than other places which draws a lot of windsurfers. This makes a perfect place to relax with your pup and watch the windsurfers do their thing. Enjoy!

I love it here. You can combine two of life's greatest pleasures. The beach and dogs. The beach is huge so your pets have plenty of room to run and play. And if they like the water you could easily spend the entire day here.

I love this dog beach! Friendly, casual atmosphere and people have always been respectful and picked up after their dogs when I've visited. I have a reactive dog and often she will bark at random when someone makes eye contact; no one has ever approached her and have ignored her when she barks from fear; this is so important for a special needs dog! I've never seen a dog fight do people are generally pretty aware of their dog's behavior. The only negative experience was a little Chihuahua that peed on my bag haha; no harm done that a wash couldn't fix!

Great place to take your pup. Seemed to be more small doggies than bigger dogs. It has a lot more trash in comparison to other dog beaches. Be careful what your dog goes near! It is kind of a narrow shallow part; the waves can come up quick and big.

I absolutely love this beach. It's full of dogs playing and sun bathing and I have yet to run into an aggressive dog which is a shock to me because we seem to run into them at every other dog oriented facility. The water and beach are beautiful, everyone was friendly and understanding of dogs stepping on towels and blankets, and it's not absurdly crowded so that parking is an issue. It's a great place to spend a day with your pup.

Super fun for dogs and you! Make sure you prep your car for a wet sandy dog though. Very friendly dogs and people. If you’re looking to train your puppy to go In Water here is a good place

It's good if you have a dog to bring to this beach. We did not and I don't like all the dogs running free. They would run to our tent and sniff out our things. One dog urinated at our tent. The stupid just said sorry but we have to clean it up. It was a disappointing day at this beach.

We had so much fun with our dog. Great beach. We went when we knew it would be busy, and it was. The beach is a very slow grade into the ocean. If you walk out to where it is waist deep, you are past the tiny breakers at the shore. Very calm, and great for swimming fetch. We hope to go back the next time we are in the area.

We come here every Sunday. It's a bit full but it's great to see my dog socialize and have fun in the water. I don't get people giving negative reviews for stuff like "There's a lot of people with their dogs not on a leash"... Well what do you expect? It's a dog beach.... People go there specifically so they can let their dogs off their leash to run around and play...

Love Rosie's Dog Beach, our dogs love going to the beach & this is the perfect place. The section of the beach for Dogs is decent size. Perfect place to play fetch & run around. I do have to say make sure your dogs have flea repellent collars or flea medicine before going to the beach. Parking is easy as well.

I always love this place and it's not crazy far from where I live. I always bring my dogs here and it makes me so happy to watch them experience the beach. This is not the beach to just lounge and no get sandy because dogs will come to you to say hi to you whether completely soaked or newly arrived dry dogs. Dont forget your poo poo bags because there aren't any just there for you. I always bring extra towels for my pups and some freshwater because drinking all that saltwater gets dehydrating. You do not need a leash on your dog during their play time. But, that is entirely up to you. If you bring food beware, our furry friends have a keen sense of smell.

One of the few places you can let your pup run freely on the beach. Nice and open I've met many friendly dogs and dog owners and so far I have had all positive experiences. If you do go please remember to bring bags to pickup your dogs waste. Nobody likes to step on a surprise especially one hidden in sand!

Great place for a beach trip with your dogs! This was our first time we brought our dog (16lbs) and she really enjoyed her visit to this beach dog park. Obviously I recommend your pets to be sociable with other dogs. Just be aware of a few droppings. If you’re wanting to bring your pets for a little trip i highly recommend this beach.

Went and saw a movie, "The Sandlot" at Rosie's Dog Beach on a cool summer night. What a joy that was! You can't tell by the pictures, but the place was full of good folks, rows deep. Fun night. Recommended for everyone do if toy like in the area.

Loved it here. Not too many people/dogs for a Sunday. But then again it was my first time. If you have a dog that likes water they will definitely enjoy it! Parking is close by.
