Super stunning building! Wish I could explore more but understand that this place is actually still in use! Such an amazing blade runner flashback. Wait until someone operates one of the elevators, super cool!

Saw a Christmas Choir here and it was a beautiful venue. The building has been very well preserved and it actually has good acoustics for a music venue. It's a fun place to check out if you can find a reason to stop by.

Amazing!! I'm a big Blade Runner fan, so always wanted to visit the Bradbury building which is the home of JF Sebastian in the movie. Well the movie is very darkly lit, so very little of the building's beauty is seen. It's an impressive mix of materials, marble, wrought iron, glass, wood, and 2 kinds of brick. If you're there on a sunny day watch how the sunlight shines through the translucent marble on the stairwell landings. It is free and open to the public 9-5.

I do respect the tenants and the property owners at the Bradbury, so please remember, NO PHOTOGRAPHY OR FILMMAKING! as the sign is posted as you enter. Otherwise, enjoy your visit, and respect architecture and property-owners. Let's preserve history kindly and respectively.

You can go in but not do photo shoots. Phone pictures are fine though. Did you know people actually have their office there?

Art and history come together as one at the Bradbury building. The Bradbury is also one of the oldest buildings, and historically known for some major movies. I couldn't get pictures upstairs, but I got some from downstairs. Photography and filming are not allowed unless you speak to management about it. Not sure how much it would cost either.

Awesome classic architecture. Guests are not allowed upstairs. It's free to enter the lobby and ascend the stairs partially up towards the first floor. Great vantage point standing on the stairs. Relaxing watching the antique elevators go up and down while watching the pully system and gears spinning.

Love this building. The way the sunlight shines inside, the iron work, the elevator, the brick and the overall feel is much different from any building constructed today. I'm not sure if it's getting extra attention now because there were a few more people visiting than usual. Worth a stop if you're in downtown.

was able to experience the Bradbury Building during the filming of the movie, "Bladerunner." I was one of hundreds of people who worked behind the scenes during the filming of the movie and got to see the building in ways that tourists do not. It is an amazing Victorian holdover that was almost lost but thank goodness is now on the historic register. If you have the opportunity to visit the Bradbury Building, I highly advise it. You will not be disappointed. Check out the two ornate elevators in the lobby. Stunning, amazing, unbelievable!

If you're interested in architecture and movies this is the place to go. It's great. Plus the central market is just around the corner and you'll have plenty of options to eat. A must if you're visiting LA

An absolutely gorgeous building. You can go in and look around, but not above the main floor as this building is in use. Definitely worth seeing though!

Visit just after 9am after most folks have gotten in to their offices. The guards are pretty chill if you act respectfully and don't over-gawk (Stealth Tourist mode) once there. It kind of brings out your inner Blade Runner vibe.

Nice architecture (especially the elevators!) but it’s really hard to take good photos. Public access is also very limited.

Amazing history! Crazy story behind it. Was the location to a few major movies. Beautiful place to photograph and the architecture makes it a marvel. You can also buy a historical sheet about it upon visiting for 50 cents.
