This is a new hotel in Spring of 2018 and very nice and clean. The rooms are nicely furnished with large TVs. The hotel is nice and fresh and the staff is very polite and attentive. There are a few points to be aware of. Most importantly, the hotel is very close to the expressway as you see in the picture. That photo was taken from the 5th floor of the hotel. The odd numbered rooms face the expressway and in those rooms the roadway noise is quite clear. Unfortunately, while the hotel is solidly built and there is not much noise from other rooms or the hallways, the noise from the road is very clear. Shortly after the hotel was opened the suites were updated to place the sitting room closest to the expressway instead of the bedrooms. This was a good decision and from our experience, the bedroom of a suite on the side of the expressway was quiet enough to sleep quite well. I do not think I would have liked a regular room however if it was on this side of the hotel. The staff here were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good it was the normal Wingate hot breakfast. Parking is free and safe. We enjoyed our stay and will be back. *Update from visit #2 Enjoyed a second visit. The rooms on the far side away from the expressway are very quiet. Even the lower floors are quiet from the floors above.
Beautiful room! Check-in was efficient and quick. This hotel has been open since November 2017, so everything is still fresh, clean, and smells good. Yes it is very close to the highway, but I did not mind the noise at all. If you cannot sleep with background noise, and after reading these reviews you still book this hotel then that's your problem, not the hotel's. The location is a little wonky but I felt safe staying here. I would definitely come back.
The staff was very nice and the hotel was beautiful. Our room was clean with a very soft bed. The free breakfast was good and the coffee was great!! We have had bad luck at hotels over the last year but this was not one of them! If we are ever in the area again you can guarantee we will book with them again!! (3 adults and two children)
