Amazing and historical living temple filled with monks and people lighting incense and worshipping. Said to be the 'cradle of Chinese Buddhism'. When we were there a woman was hysterically crying...I believe she had recently suffered a miscarriage and had come for solace and to pray for another child. It was very moving.

This Buddhist temple is a very special place. I enjoyed the Chinese Buddhist exhibits, structures and the silent tea house. I will skip the new Indian and Thai section completely when I return. That section takes away from the charm and air of the temple-- a complete waste of space and resources. It consists of some foreign styled temples that are completely devoid of a sense of history, culture and overall meaning. The Chinese temples and pagoda are very special. I will return.

來到洛陽，當然不能錯過有名的白馬寺！ 寺廟位於市區東邊約21公里處，北邊邙山，南邊是洛河。從市區搭乘巴士能輕鬆地到達此地。 白馬寺創建於東漢時期，是佛教傳入中國所興建的第一座寺院，從那時起，中國的「僧院」便泛稱為「寺」，而白馬寺也因此成為中國佛教的發源地，有中國佛教的「祖庭」和「釋源」之稱。 目前廣大的寺廟庭園內還有許多其他宗教的典型建築，讓人散步其間錯以為自己身在東南亞諸國。 而外圍園區還有個狄仁傑之墓，在此紀念斯人的風骨！

This buddha temple (Vihara) is beautiful. I see first time on google. If I will economic strong I will visit this pavitra temple ( Buddha Vihara).
