stayed at this "hotel" for 4 days with a group of friends after staying at the savoy hotel in zurich, we booked 4 rooms at the 6 floors, after being taken to our room by a very arrogant young front desk woman we found out that the ac was broken due to the very high temperature outside ... we were 6 peoples so they couldn't move us to new's room at a lower floor where hopefully the temperature will be cooler instead it took them 24h to send fans ours rooms .... went to ''eat'' at the oak grill restaurant .. big mistake the overpriced 100ch buffet is full of flies this is disgusting ! the infinity pool spa is a mess be ready to swim with at least 50 peoples who never heard the words class and education, people's are wearing t shirt , and burkini while swimming even seen a 9 yrs old kids eating chicken wings in it ( when the minimum age to access the spa pool is 15 or something ) camera are forbidden but 99% of the people's are recording video and takings pictures .... the only good thing about this place is the bar and the cigar lounge , the peoples working at the bar were greats . i wouldn't recommend anyone to stay at this hotel it's unbelievable they managed to get 5 stars, well money can get you anywhere .

Great central mountain to see the lake, large mountains and the cities below. If you want to save money and enjoy the scenery, take a boat from Lucerne to Burgenstock, and instead of taking the quick and expensive train ride up, follow the road to the right around the mountain to Stansstad and take a bus up the mountain to Burgenstock Waldhotel. Walk up and either take the Felsenweg path to the bottom of the outdoor elevator (10chf one way, 13 return) or hike your way up to the top for about 40mins. I very much enjoyed it and the local people were very nice and were greeting everyone.
