Sint Servaasbrug (or the St. Servatius Bridge) is an arched stone footbridge across the river Meuse in Maastricht, Netherlands. It is named after Saint Servatius, the first bishop of Maastricht, and (despite being largely rebuilt after World War II) it has been called the oldest bridge in the Netherlands.
The Sint Servaasbrug connects pedestrian traffic from the Binnenstad district of Maastricht on the west bank of the Meuse (the most central part of the city) to the Wyck district on the east bank.

It's a great view to the city from here. I just wish there were some telescope/binoculars there that we could use to the see the beauty of this city even more and ij details.

We came there at night on the New year's eve to check out the fireworks and rise a glass of champagne at midnight. It was very impressive, good atmosphere and amazing view over city's best fireworks. Normally at daylight it's a lovely place to see the beauty of Maastricht and a beloved place for pictures, as you have other bridges on the visible on both sides of this bridge. You are directly entering the city center at the end of the bridge. You will have to pass the bridge if walk from Maastricht central station to the city center

Had a nice lunch alfresco, good choice on the menu, and in English which is very helpful
