The Our Lady of Penha Chapel (Chinese: 西望洋聖堂; Portuguese: Capela de Nossa Senhora da Penha) is a church in Penha Hill, São Lourenço, Macau, China.
The land where the church stands was donated by the Senate of the Augustinians for the construction of the church, which was dedicated to the Our Lady of Penha of France. The church was then constructed in 1622 and became the property of the Augustinians until 1834 when they were expelled from Macau. In 1837, the church was reconstructed along with the Bishop residence next to it. In 1935, it was then again completely rebuilt.
I know it is not famous, and few tourists would visit here. However, this chapel is one of my favourite places in Macau. Penha Hill is full of mansions, and it also offers great views. As well, it just needs about 20 minutes to get there. I recommend this chapel to all visitors to Macau.

I Always Like To Go Walk In Here Even It's In The Top Of The Hill And Need For A Long Walk, Lucky For Those Who Have There Wheels, The Chapel Is Near A School For College and It Was Quiet And Pleasant To Pray And Unwind, The View Was Really Scenic and Panoramic, A Breathtaking Landscape, Perfect For Wedding Photoshoots. You Can See The Sai Van Lake, The Macao Tower and the rest.

Our Lady of Penha Church is a modest church and has a rather simple interior and exterior, making it a lower priority visit for those interested in seeing more attractive churches in Macau or those which are included in the Macau World Heritage collection. However, visits to the church can be enjoyable as it is perched upon a hill, providing impressive views to the south and northwest from the location of the Our Lady of Penha Church. Just below the church is a public park area with many benches as well. This makes a nice place to visit and relax for those looking to escape the more crowded areas of Macau like those more commonly visited around Senado Square and the Ruins of St. Paul. Here you find peace, quite and when sky conditions are favourable, some lovely panorama views of the south, facing Macau Tower towards Cotai Island. On the other side of the church, there is another nice viewpoint looking over the western area of the Macau Peninsula and over into China. There is a public bathroom and fast wifi as well.
